During day time, Solar PV Array generates DC power and the energy produced is stored in the battery bank. Battery Charging is done through a Charge Controller to effectively maximize charging current and to prevent excessive dischargeover charge. Energy stored in the battery is drawn by the electrical loads through the inverter, which converts the DC Power into AC. The Power Conditioning Unit (PCU) continuously monitors the state of Battery Voltage, Solar Power Output and the load. Due to sustained usage of power, when the Battery Voltage falls below a preset level, the PCU will automatically cut off the battery bank from the loads and will activate the power from AC Mains. System can be designed as per requirement.
