Rolling Mill Stands of all types to cater to long products as well as flat products. Conventional stands in both fibre bearing as well as anti-friction bearing are cost effective. The stands are ruggedly built to cater to the severe mill conditions. The Stands can be both open type & closed type.Pre - stressed Stands are present generation Stands known for their consistency in maintaining stock sizes. They have the advantage of both closed top, of rigidity and open top, of easiness in roll changing. These are available in both sizes 3 High as well as 2 High configurations. Housing less Stands for high productive mills offer best solutions to roll change time. These are conceptually of cassette design and the roll change is reduced to almost 10 15 minutes.

Rod Mill

The wire rod block has a group and not individual drive for all stands, the shaping in the different passes is done with a calculated tension between the stands in the block in other words the shaping is not tension free like in the intermediate mill. The tension between the stands depends first from constant parameters like the shape of the groove, working roll diameter in the groove, roll diameter relations between the stands, calculated cross section reduction but also from variable parameters like bar temperature, spread of material in the groove depending from type of material and temperature of the material. The different types of material can have different deformation resistance and consequently different roll forces. With higher roll forces the groove open according the mill modulus.

Steel roll and tungsten carbide roll ring, It can accomplish notching for one cycle of bar size 20mm in diameter, 340mm high Ni-Cr casting iron roll with three times more efficiency than before.

Automatic Cooling Bed

Cooling beds naturally cool the material as well as cross transfer towards the discharge end. PPRM cooling beds are designed using standard elements that can be combined in accordance with plant product mix requirements and production capacity.Full mechanical component standardization assures constant equipment quality, as well as high performance levels. Depending on differing speed requirements, cooling bed entry can be completed with lifting aprons and natural braking, magnetic braking, or twin channel and mechanical braking. For special applications, the cooling beds are provided with slow cooling by insulated covers and forced cooling by water spray systems or water tanks. A twin or double-twin channel system for extremely high rolling speeds is available.
