emco simplatroll type 14.458 spring applied fail safe electromagnetic dc brake is designed to perform holding as well as emergency stopping functions (normally on), making it particularly well- suited for brake motor applications. these brakes are electromagnetically actuated with two friction surfaces on a single disc. the braking power is applied by means of compression springs. the braking torque is generated in the no power or in event of power failure condition. these brakes are having torque up to 5000 nm. brake are available in various version as per application. special brake with micro switch, tacho mounting provision, centring flange etc. can be also supplied. brake is also available for low temperature (-40c) application.

Electro hydraulic thruster is a device which develops linear thrust (force) required to operate the desired mechanism. The Thrusters are widely used to actuate thruster shoe drum brakes, commonly used in EOT cranes, Gantry cranes, Overhead cranes, hoists and material handling equipments.
Thrusters are available in various models / type ST 520, ST 535, ST 545, ST 870, ST 8110, etc. Thrustor capacity ranging from 18kg, 34kg, 46kg, up to 295kg. Thruster is supplied in Cast Iron body as well as Aluminium die cast body to suit all make of cranes. Brakes shoe with lining is supplied to suit as per drum diameter / models of brakes for Thrustor brakes, Electromagnetic shoe type brakes, Drum brakes and Solenoid operated brakes.Brake shoes are supplied to suit drum diameter ranging from 100mm, 150mm, 160mm, 200mm, 250mm, 300mm, 400mm, 500mm and 600mm.Brake shoe shaft / Brake Pin is also supplied on request.Brake lining (metallic impregnated) asbestos based and Non-asbestos based brake lining in required is also supplied. In addition, Brake Liner Plate with Brake Lining also is supplied as per brake models / dimensions / Sample (including import substitute) for Electromagnetic Disc Brakes, Fail Safe brakes (A.C & D.C).
These are very fast (mille seconds) operating solenoid actuated electromechanical disc fail safe brakes. The Fail safe operation of brake type 1000 is derived from the braking torque generated by the spring pressure when the brake is electrically switched off. This pressure is neutralised by the solenoid force when the solenoid is energised and the brake is released. If necessary, braking effect can also be neutralised by means of manual release device.
