The belts are dimensionally stable and their precise positioning makes them ideal for use in linear drive systems.The optibelt ALPHA LINEAR timing belt can also be given a thin fabric covering on the tooth side in order to reduce friction and noise. Fabric can also be applied to the belt back.

Optimat V-belts are open-ended and are connected in an endless manner using a flexible connector once the belt length has been determined.Optimat V-belts can be adjusted to corresponding lengths for all centre distances without any problems whatsoever. Optibelt RR round section belts are made from high quality polyurethane using a special manufacturing process. They are produced as open-ended belts in various diameters and are available by the metre.
The optibelt RR Plus version incorporates a polyester tension cord. The round section belts with tension cords are particularly low-stretch are therefore especially useful where longer transport distances need to be covered.

Elastic ribbed belts sections EPH and EPJ consist of a:

The superstructure is made from a fibre-reinforced rubber mixture. The fibres are laid perpendicular to the direction of belt travel and stabilise the belt during dynamic operation.The tension cord is a high modulus polyamide material embedded in a rubber compound and covers the entire width of the ribbed belt. The rib compound is characterised by a high wear resistance.

The optibelt SRP timing belt with cast cams and coatings is manufactured in a single production step and used in conveying systems.
The polyurethane is cast between the core mould and the special outer mould with correspondingly increased internal diameter or special outer moulds with the desired contour for the cams.
By rotating the inner and outer moulds around the central axis, a shore hardness that differs from that of the teeth can be cast using a centrifugal casting process.

These belts are used if several pulleys are located on one level and the direction of rotation of one or multiple pulleys is to be changed. The OPTIBELT double section V-belt is ideally suited for use in typical serpentine designs.No special grooved pulleys are required for the application of optibelt DK double section V-belts. The standard grooved pulleys of the corresponding sections can be applied. They are mainly used in agricultural machines and increasingly also in general engineering.
