BAKELITE sheet is also known as Hylam sheet, Tufnol sheet, Norplex Sheet, Micarta Sheet, Synthetic Resin Bonded Paper Base Sheet (SRBP) Phenolic Sheet, Fabric Sheet, Laminated Sheet, Synthetic Resin Bonded Fabric base Sheet (SRBF). BAKELITE sheet are hard, dense material made by applying heat and pressure to layers of Cellulose Paper or Fabric cloth impregnated with synthetic resin (Phenolic Resin). When heat and pressure are applied Polymerization transforms the layers into Thermosetting Industrial Laminates.
