Electrochem was started in 1987 with an idea of introducing new surface coating techniques like Electroless Nickel plating, hard coat anodizing, composite coatings like nickel- PTFE and other processes. Since then Electrochem has established good reputation in industry. The proprietor of Electrochem - Mr. Shrikant Bhave, who is a graduate in Metallurgical Engineering - is always aware of the importance of setting proper pre-treatment and surface coating techniques to achieve consistently good quality coatings. Hence to put up good quality equipment and chemistry for these processes we have established good relations with companies like Palm International Inc. of U.S.A. and Yttec AB, Sweden. Because of them we can very well say that we can offer our customers one of the best facilities for these processes in India. To have consistent process control, we have set up required analytical laboratory and equipment like salt spray apparatus, surface roughness tester, thickness testing facility for anodizing etc. Well-qualified chemist who keeps the records regularly & handles the lab. Along with the above processes, we also offer Glass Bead blasting & S.S. electro polishing facilities. At present we have 1000 liters hard coat anodizing bath with 600A power source and 750 liters, electroless nickel plating system with steam heating facility. We have got, know how , to treat various aluminum cast and wrought alloys for hard anodizing. Our clients are over 150 in numbers and up till now we have treated plain carbon steels, stainless steels, copper and copper alloys , aluminum and ceramics. We deposit various components used in electronics, surgical, chemical, machinery, moulds and dies, food and packaging, paper machinery, compressor and air tools and other industries. Also offer Nickel - PTFE composite coating.
