Fevicol 1900 fw ( for footwear mfg): this is a super specialty solvent based adhesive developed for temporary bonding in making of uppers etc. It is a straw coloured glue of viscosity of 20 -25 poise. This is to be applied with a brush or with glue roller only on single side for temporary bonding for applications like fabrication of insole, or bonding of rigid as well as flexible surfaces like paperboard with leatherleather , boardfoamfabricmetal. This is also best suited for carpet laying application. It gives great economy of use (giving 50% saving as compared with use of conventional rubber glues which is to be applied on both sides). Its bonding is strong enough to hold two surfaces together till they are stitched . It has very long open time and very high tack, thus making it most versatile product to use on different surfaces. (it is however not recommended for bonding of pvc, rexine, nylon etc)
