Applications:

  • Absence of oil, so recommended in areas where there is danger of combustion. Used in pumps & valves having low shaft speed. Recommended in equipment handling hazardous & corrosive chemicals. Fast & simple to install with minimum maintenance requirements. PTFE packing has particular characteristics such as low coefficient of friction, high chemical resistance and excellent tightness, making it suitable for static, rotary & reciprocating applications.

A specially developed teflon packing for use on rotating equipments with excessive shaft deviation.   • Construction: Aramid fiber braided packing is made of continuous filament Kevlar yarn impregnated with PTFE & processed with special high temperature lubricant. The strength of Aramid (Kevlar) yarn is as high as steel. So this packing can resist more severe Medias & high pressure. Kevlar aramid packings are recommended to be used as end rings with other kind of packings to combine different characteristics into seals packing ring set.
