PTFE is a material of remarkable properties : Nonstick, friction free, self lubricating, non-wettable, nonflammable, non brittle, non-toxic, resistant to atmospheric conditions, resistant to fungus growth are some of its major properties. Its electrical properties are equally outstanding. All properties are maintained over a wide temperature range -2000c to +3600c.
FIBRE GLASS too is a material of remarkable properties. Fabrics made from continuous filament yarn exhibit superior properties in terms of high tensile strength, low elongation, high temperature resistance etc.
A combination of both produces a unique blend PTFE/GLASS CLOTH, retaining all the properties of both the constituents. It is highly suitable for manufacturing conveyor belts for high temperature resistance etc.

Polypropylenecopolymers have outstanding chemical resistance and show the highest resistance of all thermoplastics to organic chemicals. High densitypolypropylenehas some similarity with Polypropylene co-polymers in respect of chemicals resistance, although here againPolypropyleneco-polymers possesses the additional advantages of being usable at higher operating temperature. Both the polymers have similar solubility parameters and tend to swell by the same solvents. In both the cases the absence of any possible interaction between the crystalline polymer and the liquid prevents solution of the polymers in any liquid at room temperature. Polypropylene copolymers also possess an extremely high resistance to inorganic environments. It is not attacked by aqueous solution of inorganic salts not by most mineral acids and bases, even when in concentrated form, though it is liable to be attacked by oxidising agents e.g. 100% fuming Nitric acid and Sulphuric acid or the halogens.
PTFE Coated Fibreglass one side silicon pressure sensitive adhesive tapes for temperature resistance upto 2600C. These Tapes are used in sealing of polymer film in FFS, Impulse sealer Band Sealer, & bags making machine. During this operation the plastic film is hot & sticky & the operation is made more efficient if the sealing bars are covered with the strips ofPTFE Adhesive tapes, which is very good &gives non-stick Surface.
We also have fabrics & Tapes which gives impression on the sealing area. We also have premium grades ofAdhesive tapeswhich are specially used in Oil & Ghee packings.

Constructions:
An extremely low friction extruded soft and dense packing made grade of PTFE, graphite and high temperature lubricant.
PTFE thread seal tapescan be used as a sealant in all types of threaded pipe materials like iron, steel, copper, aluminum, special steel, plastics including PVC pipes. Apart from these, the most important characteristics ofPTFE tapesto be used as a thread sealant are the tensile strength properties and the density. Performance of the tape is determined by the balance of tensile strength and elongation between the longitudinal and transverse directions & the percentage elongation at break in the transverse direction. Good drape is the ability of the thread seal tape to conform closely to the pipe threads without tearing.

A packing with a center of hollow silicon core or solid silicon cord braided around by yarn of style 51, 62, 71, 82 & 83
Applications:
A specially developed packing for use on rotating equipments with excessive shaft deviation. It also reduces shaft / sleeve wear. The center of silicon core / cord gives it strong restoration properties and exerts back-pressure, resulting in total sealing. This packing is suitable for pumps, reactors, mixers, agitators, etc.
