For the applications where high flux density at minimum weight is a prerequisite, designers first choice is 50% Cobalt Iron alloy. It has very high magnetic saturation (up to about 2.3 T) and low coercivity.
Besides very precise stamping process, components made in Cobalt Iron need comprehensive hydrogen heat treatment process which enhances Magnetic performance. Magnetic and Physical properties are optimized as per application needs with variation in annealing temperature.
General applications of the Cobalt Iron Alloy include Stator and Rotor lamination for Aircraft Engines, Motors etc
PMLs Strengths:Nano crystalline soft magnetic material is a new development. The material composition is 82% iron with the remaining balance silicon, boron, niobium, copper, carbon, molybdenum, and nickel. The raw material is manufactured and supplied in an amorphous state. It is recrystallized into a precise mix of amorphous and Nano crystalline phases when annealed, giving the material it's unique magnetic properties.
Comparing with the traditional core material, such as silicon steel and perm alloy, Iron based nano crystalline alloy takes the advantage of high permeability and low cost, and is thus more competitive in the application of precise current transformer with 0.2, 0.2s, and 0.1 accuracy class. This material has the best overall performance over a broad range of frequencies when compared to other available materials. It's relatively high saturation flux density, combined with its incredible low loss and high permeability through a wide frequency range, makes it useful in many applications
PML have the facility to make cores of various sizes in nano crystalline and amorphous material with ribbon thickness 25-35 microns. The cores are made on automatic core winding machine to give very high production rate. The cores are finally heat treated in controlled atmosphere in our high tech furnace to achieve optimum material performance. Later cores are then plastic encapsulated or epoxy coated as per the customer requirement and tested 100% for quality performance on core sorting machines and dispatched.Applications:

One of our most popular research products, fabricated from MuMETAL alloy is the Permanent Magnets Ltd.Zero Gauss Chamber. These scientifically engineered chambers provide a laboratory work space of extremely low magnetic field.
MuMETAL Zero Gauss Chambers have been used worldwide by many universities, private research companies, national laboratories and companies required to provide evidence of military or consumer regulatory compliance. Our chambers are preferred because they are made from high permeability () Stress Annealed MuMETAL, which provides a consistent, low field test area.
Our standard Zero Gauss Chambers consist of 3-layers and are designed to attenuate external low frequency A.C. fields 1, 000 to 1, 500 times. To achieve the lowest magnetic levels within the chamber and for providing optimum long term stability and uniformity of the internal magnetic field levels, the periodic use of a Degaussing Coil is recommended. We offer both standard and high temperature insulated Degaussing Coils.

alloys which are used for similar, but different applications. MuMETAL Stress Annealed sheet is used primarily in low intensity fields where high attenuation is desired (high initial permeability & high shielding efficiency). Available as stress annealed (partially annealed for ease of machinability).
MuMETAL is used for fabricated shields such as enclosures, cylinders, cans, channels or 3D boxes. Typically, atmospherically controlled Perfection Annealing is required after stamping, machining, bending, rolling or welding to provide maximum shielding performance. MuMETAL alloy is available in many forms, but most shields are fabricated from our sheet or coil stock in gauges from 0.014" to 0.062" thickness [0.36mm to 1.57mm] .

Magnetic Grill are used for separation of iron particles mixed with dry, granular or free flowing material. Magnetic Grill are made by using stainless steel frames (Round, Square or Rectangular) with Magnetic Rods inside the frame.
These Magnetic Grill are made up of Magnetic Elements which are fitted inside a required size frame. The Magnetic Elements aremade up of hard Ferrite Ceramic Magnets or High Intensity Rare Earth NdFeB Magnets. All the components are made up of Stainless Steel 304/316 material. The overall construction of the Magnetic Grill can also be made as per the customer specification and sizes
The grills are efficiently utilized if contamination is within 1% to 1.5% by weight. For higher levels of contamination Drawer Grills or Multi Drawer Grills should be used.
Low Intensity Magnetic Grillhaving Gauss value of approximately 2, 500 Gauss are ideal for trapping contamination such as Nuts, Bolts, Screws, broken washers etc. these grills are designed to attract larger iron pieces from relatively larger distance.
Medium Intensity Magnetic Grillhaving Gauss value of approximately 5, 500 Gauss are used where the contamination is in particle form, however there may or may not be continuous flow of material to be separated. The contamination size may be as low as 150 microns but not lower than that. The material should be free flowing and non sticky.
High Intensity Magnetic Grillhaving Gauss value of approximately 10, 000 Gauss are employed at locations where separation of contamination particles as small as 1 microns is required. These grills have been designed to attract super fine particles from the carrier material.
In all the three classes of grill, it is a necessity to clean the grills at regular intervals. It is recommended to clean the grill thoroughly before every pass (or as scheduled as per users requirement and experience). More accumulation of Iron particles for long time will reduce the effectiveness of the grill. For highest attraction, the grill needs to be fully clean.

Magnetic Rollers are used in textile blow-room lines for separation of tramp iron like ring travelers, nut-bolts, bale straps from cotton in the blow-room operations. This is Generally fitted on conveyor lattice prior to calendaring operation thereby preventing the chances of fire. Also reduce the down time by protecting calendaring rolls, beater spikes, carding teeth.
Magnets installed in the line should be checked periodically for their effectiveness and condition. If too much accumulation of metallic substances is found, their cleaning frequency may have to be improved as there is risk of a part of the metallic substances being carried forward with the cotton.
Can be manufactured and supplied in various diameters and lengths to suit existing machinery.
Auxiliary relays are used for machine safety. Auxiliary relay assists a protective relay in switch-gear for a number of operations. Protective Relay performs task of measurement and under required conditions, is closes its contacts. Protective relay is relieved of all duties such as tripping, Time lag, breaking of trip circuit current, giving alarm, showing flags, etc. This duties are performed by Auxiliary Relays. Each of these duties are performed by an auxiliary relay.Seal-in Relay, Alarm Relay, Time lag Relay are some of the auxiliary relays.
Contacts of Protective relay are delicate. Seal-in Relay is an auxiliary relay that protects the contacts of Protective relay. Alarm Relay is an auxiliary relay that gives trip alarm(Indication) both in audible and visual form.
Time lag relays are auxiliary relay that operate after a preset time lag. They are used in control and alarm circuits to allow time for the required sequence of operation to take place. This are various applications of auxiliary relay.
These parts are made of 48% Ni:Fe.PML provides these parts with high magnetic properties and critical dimensions maintained for proper working of the auxiliary relay.
Magnetic Plates are important industrial iron separators that are used for the separation of fine ferrous materials and tramp iron from many types of free flowing and pneumatically conveyed material like corn, sugar, flour, gravel, plastic and others granular materials.
The Plate Magnets also go very well with powdery, moist, lumpy, and abrasive products and large debris that might choke, bridge, or cause rapid wear in cartridge-based separators. Plate magnets are flexible enough to be deployed above conveyors or below conveyor drive pulleys to capture contaminants. They are available in both flat and curved shapes and can be installed either above or at the discharge end of material flow.
Application:Magnetic platesare extensively used in CTC Tea machinery and in Biscuit stacking machines. They are also used for separating trapped iron in industries such as:
Permanent magnetic pulleys are ideal magnetic products used as head pulleys in belt conveyors. These pulleys offer superior removal of ferrous contamination like nails, spikes, nuts, bolts, cans, and wire from material conveyor with maintenance free operation. Whatever your application is, a magnet is a low cost way to remove that unwanted ferrous metal from your waste stream. They require very little maintenance and can last for years with proper care.
Applications:Magnetic Retrieving Batons are innovative and powerful tools designed to remove ferrous materials in wet and dry environments. They are great tools to collect scattered nails, nuts, bolts, screws etc. and they are very handy in cleaning drill and lathe machines' ferrous waste.
The Magnetic Retrieving Batons are made entirely of Stainless Steel and the magnets are super strong Rare Earth NdFeB magnets.

Current-carrying conductors can be the cause, or be affected by, electromagnetic interference. Twisted pair cable has been PML MS widely used and is superior to parallel conductors, but is of limited effectiveness in reducing electromagnetic radiation. INTER-8 Weave Cable provides substantial improvement over the performance of a conventional twisted pair. INTER-8 weave cable consists of four separate conductors braided into interlocking loops and is a field-proven design of Permanent Magnets Limited.
Four Types of CableThe basic INTER-8 weave cable is un-shielded. It is available with PVC insulation, or ETFE high temperature insulation. For additional shielding, both are also available with an outer braided shield, made of Permanent Magnets Limited proprietary Co-NETIC AA high permeability wire, to provide ultimate magnetic shielding. Shielded options are covered with an outer Jacket.

Iron is probably one of the most abundantly available materials in nature and is also being used to a large extend in various products. The use of iron is extensive in all walks of life due to its inherent superior mechanical properties and its availability as compared to other materials. Most of the products are manufactured / produced on machines / equipments which are built using iron. This leads to iron contamination of the products.
The iron contamination may be in the loose form or compound form or it could be in the alloy form depending on the process. Though this is part and parcel of the process, the iron contamination is undesirable in most of the products and contamination levels are governed by guidelines set by BIS and other international standards. This is more so in food processing industry.
Drawer Type Permanent Magnetic Grills are used for separation of iron particles from dry, granular or free flowing product / materials. Drawer Magnetic Grills are made by using stainless steel having (Round or square or rectangular) with magnetic rods mounted on drawer.
The Drawer Type grills are made up of magnetic elements, which are fitted in a drawer and is moving in a housing. Magnetic Elements aremade up of hard ferrite ceramic magnets or high intensity rare earth magnets ( Ndfeb ). All the components are made up of Stainless Steel 304/316 material. The overall construction of the magnetic grills can also be made as per the customer specification and sizes

A current transformer (CT) is used for measurement of alternating electric current. Current transformers, together with voltage (or potential) transformers (VT or PT), are known as instrument transformers. When current in a circuit is too high to apply directly to measuring instruments, a current transformer produces a reduced current accurately proportional to the current in the circuit, which can be conveniently connected to measuring and recording instruments.
A current transformer isolates the measuring instruments from what may be very high voltage in the monitored circuit. Current transformers are commonly used in metering and protective relays in the electrical power industry.

Magnetic Sheet Floaters are great sheet handling tools. By using the Magnetic Sheet Floater, the users can easily separate one sheet from a stack of sheets without getting their hands dirty. Simply place the Magnetic Sheet Floater near the sheet stack and the Magnet will attract the top sheet, making the sheet toappear as it is slightly floating above the stack. This enables the user to get enough grip to hold the sheet.
This device will eliminate the pain of picking a sheet from a stack of sheets, no more sliding sheets around to find the perfect grip!

Clamp-on or Cable clamp Current Sensors are sensors that are used for measuring AC or DC currents. They are particularly useful for measuring currents flowing in a cable wire in a non-intrusive way.
Product DescriptionThe clamp-on current sensors are particularly useful for easy and safe installation. They are installed straightforwardly onto a wire going into the electrical load without the need to do any high voltage electrical work. The current sensor consists of a Melexis Hall Sensor (MLX91208) and a patented ferromagnetic structure packaged in a robust plastic housing.
This non-invasive current sensor (also known as a split core or cable-clamp ) can be clamped around the supply line of any electrical load to tell you how much current is passing through it. It monitors the magnetic field around a current-carrying conductor and outputs a voltage proportional to the current.
The clamp-on current sensors measure loads from +/-5 Amps to +/-230 Amps which makes it great for building your own energy monitor to keep your power usage down, or even building an over-current protection device for an AC load.
