trichodemm viride is a naturally-occurring beneficial soil fungus that protects crops from several diseases caused by seed-bome and soil-bome fungal pathogens like rhizoctonia spp. Pythium spp. Fusarium spp. Altemaria spp. Etc. It is used as an effective seed dressing and soil treatment product to combat seed and soil borne fungal diseases.

Paecilomyces lilacinus s a common saprophytic, entomopathogenic, mycoparasitic, as well as nematophagous,
filamentous fungus. It is parasitic on nematodes infecting eggs, juveniles, and adult females of root-knot and cyst nematodes. The species can grow at a wide range of temperatures from 8C to 38C for a few isolates, with optimalgrowth in the range 26C to 30C. It also has a wide pH tolerance and can grow on a variety of substrates.
