Air Dryer

PSA/Desicant Air Dryer:Standard compressed air enters to PSA unit where all the impurities like: moisture, CO, CO2 etc areremoved to produced clean dry air upto -60 dew point.

Refrigerated Air Dryer:Standard compressed air enters to the Air to Air heat exchange, where it is pre cooled by out going cold dryair. Highly effective pre cooler reduces the temperature considerably, and enable to use smaller &economical refrigeration system. Then the pre cooled, relatively low temperature compressed air enters toAir to Refrigerant heat exchanger, where it is cooled down to +3C (Pressure Dew Point). At thistemperature, moisture in vapour form condensed to liquid form, and separated from the compressed air bymoisture separator and discharged to drain port through automatic drain valve. Thecold dry compressesair passes back to Air to Air Heat Exchanger, and gain temperature by exchanging heat with incoming warmair. The dry air coming out from the dryer is ready to use for instrumentation and process air applications.

Hydrogen Gas Generator

  • Hydrogen is produced in the PGH Series Hydrogen Generators by the most advanced electrolytic membrane technology.
  • The application of voltage across the electrolyte results in hydrolysis, breaking down the water molecule into hydrogen and oxygen gas, which are separated by the gas permeable membrane.

The new instrument measures liquid flow over a wide range, from 50l/min to 25ml/min. You can see the working flow ranges and accuracy in the table below. Flow rate is measured by volume and is independent of the liquid type up to a viscosity of 10 centipoise.The unit uses a single chip micro-controller, the flow rate (rounded to four digits) is displayed on a large four digit back-lit Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and data can be conveniently output via the built-in RS232 interface to the full 6-digit reading. No user calibration is required; the unit is generally supplied gravimetrically calibrated at 1.0 (+10%) ml/min. Calibration at multiple points is available. All wetted parts are made of PTFE , PEEK, DAI-EL PERFLOUR or Pyrex glass. There are no wetted metallic parts.

Three modes of operation are available:Printer Mode: liquid flow readings are displayed on the LCD and output to a printer if one is connected. A running average option is available in this modeTerminal Mode: in this mode the liquid flowmeter is controlled by the terminal or PC. Extra commands for averaging any number of readings are included.Test Mode: this mode allows the user to test the display, valve and RS232 interface and also display the calibration date.

The RS232 output allows the flowmeter to output data to any device fitted with an RS232 serial interface e.g. printer, terminal or personal computer. The unit is supplied with an RS232 cable fitted with a nine way female plug to connect directly to the COM port of a PC. By using the Terminal or Hyper-Terminal program supplied with MS Windows results can be collected and displayed or pasted into Excel or other programs to produce graphs or statistical analysis. The baud rate is internally switch selectable for 19200, 9600, 4800, 2400, 1200, 600, 300 baud with the option of sending a CR/LF after each reading. X-on / X-off handshaking is used.

PhEur 2.2.24 Calibration Standards

In addition to standard polystyrene calibration films, ICL offers several other calibration options. Superior calibrations are performed with radially symmetric films which eliminate the orientation effects of extruded films used for NIST Standard 1921 calibrations. This makes the films consistent from film to film. Sold in pairs of two (2) different film thickness, the differential between the absorbance intensities created by the two (2) film thickness becomes the baseline, thereby making the pair of films suitable both as an ordinate calibration standard useful for detection of degradation in instrument performance and for calibrating the abscissa scale in accordance with NIST Standard 1921. Films are available in free standing pairs mounted on 2 x 4 cards that fit in the standard universal slide mount in all spectrophotometers or the films can be cast on KBrwindows. Films cast on KBr windows will not exhibit any interference fringes. KBrwindows with films are sold with a mount with a 2 x 3 back plate that fits the standard universal slide mount in all spectrophotometers.The polystyrene coating prevents degradation of the KBrwindow from moisture effects. Boron doped crystal windows are also available as calibration standards. These windows can be matched in pairs with comparable absorbances.

Air Dryer

PSA/Desicant Air Dryer:Standard compressed air enters to PSA unit where all the impurities like: moisture, CO, CO2 etc areremoved to produced clean dry air upto -60 dew point.

Refrigerated Air Dryer:Standard compressed air enters to the Air to Air heat exchange, where it is pre cooled by out going cold dryair. Highly effective pre cooler reduces the temperature considerably, and enable to use smaller &economical refrigeration system. Then the pre cooled, relatively low temperature compressed air enters toAir to Refrigerant heat exchanger, where it is cooled down to +3C (Pressure Dew Point). At thistemperature, moisture in vapour form condensed to liquid form, and separated from the compressed air bymoisture separator and discharged to drain port through automatic drain valve. Hydrogen Gas Generator

  • Hydrogen is produced in the PGH Series Hydrogen Generators by the most advanced electrolytic membrane technology.
  • The application of voltage across the electrolyte results in hydrolysis, breaking down the water molecule into hydrogen and oxygen gas, which are separated by the gas permeable membrane.

The new instrument measures liquid flow over a wide range, from 50l/min to 25ml/min. You can see the working flow ranges and accuracy in the table below. Flow rate is measured by volume and is independent of the liquid type up to a viscosity of 10 centipoise.The unit uses a single chip micro-controller, the flow rate (rounded to four digits) is displayed on a large four digit back-lit Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and data can be conveniently output via the built-in RS232 interface to the full 6-digit reading. No user calibration is required; the unit is generally supplied gravimetrically calibrated at 1.0 (+10%) ml/min. Calibration at multiple points is available. All wetted parts are made of PTFE , PEEK, DAI-EL PERFLOUR or Pyrex glass. There are no wetted metallic parts.

Three modes of operation are available:Printer Mode: liquid flow readings are displayed on the LCD and output to a printer if one is connected. A running average option is available in this modeTerminal Mode: in this mode the liquid flowmeter is controlled by the terminal or PC. Extra commands for averaging any number of readings are included.Test Mode: this mode allows the user to test the display, valve and RS232 interface and also display the calibration date.

The RS232 output allows the flowmeter to output data to any device fitted with an RS232 serial interface e.g. printer, terminal or personal computer. The unit is supplied with an RS232 cable fitted with a nine way female plug to connect directly to the COM port of a PC. By using the Terminal or Hyper-Terminal program supplied with MS Windows results can be collected and displayed or pasted into Excel or other programs to produce graphs or statistical analysis. The baud rate is internally switch selectable for 19200, 9600, 4800, 2400, 1200, 600, 300 baud with the option of sending a CR/LF after each reading. X-on / X-off handshaking is used.

In addition to standard polystyrene calibration films, ICL offers several other calibration options. Superior calibrations are performed with radially symmetric films which eliminate the orientation effects of extruded films used for NIST Standard 1921 calibrations. This makes the films consistent from film to film. Sold in pairs of two (2) different film thickness, the differential between the absorbance intensities created by the two (2) film thickness becomes the baseline, thereby making the pair of films suitable both as an ordinate calibration standard useful for detection of degradation in instrument performance and for calibrating the abscissa scale in accordance with NIST Standard 1921. Films are available in free standing pairs mounted on 2 x 4 cards that fit in the standard universal slide mount in all spectrophotometers or the films can be cast on KBrwindows. Films cast on KBr windows will not exhibit any interference fringes. KBrwindows with films are sold with a mount with a 2 x 3 back plate that fits the standard universal slide mount in all spectrophotometers.The polystyrene coating prevents degradation of the KBrwindow from moisture effects. Boron doped crystal windows are also available as calibration standards. These windows can be matched in pairs with comparable absorbances.
