Almost 70 % of all epoxy resin in India is sourced from them. There is a huge demand for epoxy resin specially their speciality range and we market their products in this region. Atul Epoxy under the Atul Polymers Division has the largest product line of Epoxy Resin and their product is marketed under the name Lapox.

Polymers Division

• Epoxy Resin, Reactive diluents and Hardener are manufactured, marketed and sold in the name of “LAPOX” by polymers division of Atul Ltd.
• Manufacturing of Epoxy systems began in 1968 in a company established as a joint venture between Atul and Ciba, Switzerland. In 1999, on the merger of the JV with parent company, the Epoxy operations became a part of Atul Ltd. The current state of the art manufacturing facility with total production capacity of 40000 TPA is located 200 km from North of Mumbai at Valsad in Gujrat. Currently the division is awarded ISO 9001-2008 and ISO- 14000.

• The company is able to sustain leadership position in India and in global market due to customized solutions supported by well equipped R&D and Application Development Center located at site. A team of 35 scientist and technologists are dedicated for R&D, ADC, and Quality control. This strength is nearly 15% of total employees working for polymer business.

Paul & Company is offering Hexamethoxymethylated melamine  (HMMM) resins in three variants: HMMM 50 and HMMM 65, And now in HMMM 72 also on order basis.

Paul and Company is offering Resorcinol and Resorcinol derivatives, HMMM is used along with these products to give the desired result. Basically it is a Dry bonding agent, and it is part of the dry bonding system which leads to high adhesion between Rubber and Dipped/ Undipped Fabric and also with coated steel cords.

Dry Bonding system = Resorcinol/ Resorcinol Donor + Methylene Donor + Precipitated Silica These need to be added to rubber compound during MIXING stage.Benefits are as following :- Enhance adhesion of brass and zinc coated steel chords High levels of adhesion of rubber compounds Ammonia is not released Applications :Mainly used in manufacture of Tyres, Belts (Transmission, Conveyor), Hoses, Moulded items, Rubberised Fabric, etc.Features : It is available in 25 Kg Bag in Solid Form HMMM is made by mixing HMT and Ppt silica HMMM 50 has 45-52% Ash Content (please refer COA) HMMM 65 is 29-36%Ash content (please refer COA) Either of the two grades may be used, depending on the grade the dosage(PHR) would vary and otherwise there is no other difference.

We make available Resoform Resins for quick and timely delivery. Resorcinol-Formaldehyde Resins are used in tires, conveyor belts and rubber hoses.

We offer three grades offered by Atul Ltd P 18, P19 and P20.
