Parthflex is a quality engineered smooth bore plain PTFE tube with AISI 304 high tensile stainless steel braid. Produced specifically for industrial use where reliability and long life are required or where hostile temperatures or corrosive considerations make PTFE the only logical choice. Parthflex is available with translucent virgin PTFE or anti-static black where fluids with a high electrical resistance such as solvents and fuels are passed through the hose and allow the dissipation to any static charge.
Application: Parthflex hose and assemblies can be used at temperatures ranging from -70 C to 260 C. Suitable for most known chemicals, acids, oils, corrosives, alkalis, gases, steam, pharmaceutical and foodstuffs industries.
Fittings:Male, female, flanged, Triclover and PTFE flared / encapsulated fittings available in all the material.

With Flare through connections, the PTFE tube passes through the end fitting and is flared radially outward against the sealing face of the fitting. This design creates continuous end to end PTFE liner thus all wetted parts are PTFE lined. Fittings such as stub, flange, male, female, Triclover and Camlock can be lined in this fashion.

When pressure is applied, unbraided hose tends to elongate axially; to restrain this, an external layer of SS wire braid is provided. The braid also makes the assembly pressure compatible.
Sometimes two or even three layers of braiding are provided for high pressure applications. The braiding is highly flexible and follows the movement of the hose. The braid is normally manufactured in SS 304 wire. However SS 316 and 321 braids can also be manufactured. We also supply wire braid in different configurations as per customer specifications.
Note :
The above technical details are subject to change without notice. |
We can also supply the above hoses for higher pressures. |
The above values apply only to braided hoses and assemblies at ambient temperature of 20 Deg. C. |
The burst pressure is 4 times of the max. working pressure. |

Reduce sound and vibration oscillations. Dual functionality in one expansion joint. Properties
The high pressure pump connectors ensure the maximum reduction of vibration and noise reduction via the flexible bellow and the rubber elements at the tie rods.High pressure pump connectors can handle high temperatures. The built-in length is the same as most rubber compensators, which ease their planning and replacement.
Applications
Universal expansion joints can absorb movements in several planes.
|
|
he exhaust compensator is resistant towards pressure (as standard up to 2, 5 bar) and absorbs axial and lateral movements.
|
|
Axial expansion joints have typically an unrestrained construction and are primarily designed to take up longitudinal pipe expansions, normally caused by temperature fluctuations. Having unrestrained design the axial expansion joints require fixed points and guides to make up for the reactive forces and spring rates, as these loads are further released onthe pipe system. Axial expansion joints can absorb quite large movements at a relatively compact build-in length and offer a simple and cost efficient solution in terms of the compensation of movements.
