This specification covers the technical requirements of Cold rolled closed annealed Mild Steel coils with or without micro alloying additions suitable for Cold forming.The steel shall be adequately refined to ensure the limits of tramp elements, impurities and gases as specified. The steel shall be fully aluminum killed, continuously cast and rolled in a continuous Mill. The temperatures of slab reheating , coil finishing and coiling shall be controlled so as to ensure the optimum surface finish, shape and Grain size for development of [111] texture for imparting drawability in CRCA products and mechanical properties suitable for end application.

Tin plates are cold rolled mild steel electrolytically coated with tin, passivated and oiled. It is furnished in a variety of tin coating, temper and finish.
