Spectrum high-temperature filters are used for air filtration applications involving temperatures > 100C (> 212F) up to 400C (752F). The filter media is made of special, temperature-resistant glass fibre paper with high mechanical stability and moisture resistance. Microglass paper separators maintain the pleat distance. Protection grids on both upstream and downstream side also prevent damage to the filter medium. The protection grids and the filter frame consists of galvanized steel to reduce the risk of particle shedding caused by the constantly high temperatures. Spectrum high temperature filters are equipped with a temperature-resistant gasket to preclude leaks.
Spectrum high temperature filters are used for air filtration applications involving temperatures >100C up to 260C for air supply and upto 540C for exhaust air. The filter pack is constructed by pleating a continuous sheet of special grade water-resistant fiberglass media around hemmed-edge corrugated aluminium separators. The filter frame is made from grade 304 stainless steel with a high temperature silicone sealant rated for 260C or a glass pack sealant rated for 540C in exhaust applications. A woven glass gasket is provided to seal the filter to the mounting device.
The Spectra Cell V bank filter features a fire retardant, water resistant glass fiber media housed in a sturdy polystyrene frame. The pleats are separated with thermoplastic (hotmelt) separators. A very high ratio of media to filter face area ensures that the filter is capable to handle very high air flow volume at relatively low pressure drop.
The Spectra Cell is a ruggedly constructed, heavy duty, high efficiency filter. A special dual layer, graded density media ensures extremely high dust holding capacity and therefore lower operating pressure loss. The high efficiency and moisture resistance of the filter keeps the inside clean and protects against moisture and salt.
'Spectra Cell Compact' mini pleated filters offer substantial advantages over conventional deep pleat ASHRAE filters, not the least of which are higher flow capacities, less space, reduced resistance to flow, and greatly enhanced dust holding capacities. It serves as an excellent final filter for in air intake systems of combustion engines and as a final filter in HVAC systems.
Spectrum's HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter is constructed from high quality wetlaid microglass media and uses corrugated aluminum separators. The pleat pitch is designed for minimum air flow resistance and the spacer edges are 'safety rolled' to prevent media puncture. The filter is sealed to the frame with a two-part polyurethane adhesive to ensure zero leakage.
Our 'hot-melt mini-pleat' filter design configuration increases its energy efficiency due to lower pressure drop in comparison to conventional deep pleat HEPA. The 'Spectra Mini-Pleat' filters are thus the lowest cost filters to operate over the filter's life. In new applications, using 'Spectra Mini-pleat' HEPA filters reduce the cost and size of the filter housing. Spectrum's mini-pleat HEPA filters offer outstanding performance and are factory scanned before they reach the customer. Individual testing under rigid quality control and modern assembly methods ensures conformance to specifications.
HV (High Volume) HEPA filters can be used for upto 4000m3/hr. These filters are developed for demanding final filter applications. The wetlaid microglass fibre filter media is pleated and separated using hot melt beads and housed in a robust filter frame.
The most commonly used pre filter in the HVAC industry, available in cleanable/washable media for simple and inexpensive maintenance. It is the workhorse designed to go on and on. It is an excellent choice as a pre filter to higher efficiency filter.
An excellent panel type prefilter for Turbomachine intake. The electro galvanized frame is sturdy and corrosion resistant and is of exceptionally high strength. The polyester felt media is pleated with a high carbon steel wiremesh backing. The media is washable to ensure that the panel filter can be repeatedly cleaned. It is an excellent choice as a prefilter for multi stage intake air filter houses in turbo machinery.
Spectrum Universal Filter Holding Frames are designed for simple and cost-effective construction/remodeling of filter banks. Its unique modular design is ideal for quick and hassle free installation at site. The frames come in a variety of standard sizes and can also be delivered in custom made sizes. The frames come with 4 quick clamp spring clips to ensure positive seal. The holding frames are available in Extruded Aluminum, Galvanised and Stainless Steel construction. A silicone free gasket is provided with the holding frame.

Spectrum High temperature (HT) air filter range offers from high temperature sliced media pad type or as framed box filters, This HT range has developed a filtration system to meet clean air environment at oven application.
Testing and certification for this range of filters has been sadly lacking in our country. For many years, and right upto the present time, efficiencies for this range of filters are reported in terms of BS 2831, which is an obsolete standard.Current international norms call for reporting of filters to be tested and evaluated in terms of ASHRAE 52.2, which specifies the rating of filters in terms of MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value). For the first time, filters are rated in terms of their efficiencies at a particular particle size, rather than in terms of simple gravimetric retention or dust spot efficiency. Spectrum is a pioneer in the installation of a test rig for the testing of filters in accordance with ASHRAE 52.2, and possesses a state-of-the-art facility for testing, evaluation and reporting of prefilters and intermediate efficiency filters. Spectrum also supplies prefilters and intermediate efficiency filters for various industrial applications, with media from Filtrair b.v., Netherlands, which is UL certified and certified for efficiency. Domestically available media are not certified, and their actual performance is therefore indeterminate. The Company thereby ensures that its products invariably satisfy client requirements with regard to filtration efficiency and dust holding capacity.

When used in conjunction with "Spectra Pre" or "Spectra Fine" particulate removal filters, they ensure economical & effective removal of particulates, odors & gases. Spectra Gas Phase / Chemical / IAQ filters are used to effectively remove odor associated with diesel fumes, hydrocarbons, tobacco smoke, body odors, cooking and Volatile organic compounds (VOC).

Cartridge filter can be capture particles and contaminant through the total thickness of the medium. Cartridge filters are normally designed disposable: this means that they have to be replaced when the filter is clogged. Spectra Cartridge filters are ruggedly constructed to withstand extreme operating conditions; the Spectra - GT range of cartridge is available to fit almost all pulse & static installations.
Paint arrestor designed for the retention of overspray from paint spraying extract systems in order to eliminate contamination of equipment, spoiling of painted surfaces, and most importantly protection of the environment. Continuous, monofilament glass fibres are built up to create a matrix with a progressive density, having an open structure on the air inlet face and a firm laminate backing on the air exit side. These characteristics provide a material which promotes indepth filtration without surface loading and therefore results in high dust holding capacity, with minimum resistance to airflow. The high compressive strength ensures stability and rigidity i.e. the media will not "sag" under normal operating conditions causing unfiltered air and contaminant bypass.
The Spectra Spin Tube Inertial Separator is a high efficiency, low pressure drop, one-piece molded polypropylene air cleaner. Each unit contains 54 small tubes with stationary air spinners that impart a high radial velocity to the air at the inlet face. The resulting centrifugal force causes the dirt particles to move to an annular space from which they are removed by the flow of bleed air which is generally 10% of the total dirty airflow. The clean air is withdrawn through the center of the inner tubes out of the exiting air face while the dirty bleed air is exhausted out the end of the filter element through bleed ducts. Multiple elements can be used in banks with bleed air ducts connected to a common bleed air exhaust duct.

The Filtrair Drop Safe (DS) rigid filter is a pre-filter combined with very high efficiency coalescer. For applications in air intake systems of Turbo machinery, in any environmental condition, including offshore, marine and in any climate - including tropical (high humidity). They efficiently remove airborne particulate matter along with snow, mist and fog, acting as a filter and a coalescer. A specially designed water drainage system drains out free water and air borne salt crystals.
