Samalkha is known as Foundery Town To-day but rare know the person who inspite of being illiterate had the courage of estabilising first foundry in 1948 (JAI HIND IRON FOUNDRY & ENGG. WORKS) and attributed his whole life for the cause.

The person with modest means but strong work ethics, No support but high goal and strong will power,Cow like Polite but Bold bull like, he was Lala Johri Mal Garg.
