Orientals vertical centrifuges are made from only the highest quality raw material so that they deliver maximum output with minimum maintenance for all your solid/liquid separation needs. Each vertical centrifuge is designed and built in a user-friendly manner to enable easy loading and extraction and our result oriented controls and intensive washing of solids assures effective solid-liquid.
In this type of centrifuge, the solid-liquid separation is done through a scraper that cuts the solid cake while the basket is rotating at a slow speed. The solids are then discharged through openings provided in the basket bottom and bottom base/inertia plate.
Feeding Feeding is carried out while the basket is rotating at an appropriate speed. After the required cake is built, the feeding is stopped. The centrifuge continues to run for some time to partially dewater the solids.
Washing After feeding, washing is carried out by pumping wash liquid through the wash pipe.
Spinning The spinning of the basket ensures proper completion of the dewatering process.
Scraping The speed of the basket is reduced to the scraping speed.
The Manual Top Discharge Centrifuge is one of the most commonly used vertical centrifuges in the industry. Its mechanisms are fairly basic where the solid material is scooped out manually from the top of the centrifuge.
