The Mini P-4 Cell has set the new standard for Mini Vertical Electrophoresis:
Easier to assemble, leakproof, and with a four-gel capacity that doubles the output of the traditionalcell, the Mini P-4 cell combines traditional features with higher throughput and even greater reliability. Modular Cells for Many Application interchangeable modules easily convert a Mini P-4cell from one application to another. Each modulefits into the same buffer tank and lid to form acomplete cell. The modular configurations are: Mini P-4 electrophoresis cell - for running hand castor precast PAGE gel and (SDS)-PAGE gels Mini TBC electrophoretic transfer cell - for western blotting.
A digital display clearly indicates the speed of the rotational stainless steel paddles. After count down, the paddles stop and an alert sounds. The timer then counts up in minutes in order to measure settling time.
Two pre-set programs allow routine speed and time parameters to be input and then selected by simply pressing one button. Parameters are stored in the memory and can be recalled or altered at any time. The intuitive touch sensitive keypad is totally flat for easy cleaning.
It is supplied with stainless steel paddles with adjustable spaces to adjust the depth of the paddles. Rpm measurement arrangement is provided.

The Dean and Stark Apparatus or Dean and Stark receiver or distilling trap is a piece of laboratory glassware used in synthetic chemistry to collect water (or occasionally other liquid) from a reactor. It is used in combination with a reflux condenser and a batch reactor for continuous removal of the water that is produced during a chemical reaction performed at reflux temperature.
