Optical Redundant Switch

We Have Optical Redundant Switch.The Network failure is one of the last things that a network integrator would want to happen. Thus it becomes essential that the network is up and running 24x7 and 365 days. Especially when we look at the CATV network, the consumer would never want disruption in the signal under any circumstances. Thus the optical networks are designed to meet this criterion. But the problem persists at the last mile cable operator wherein they receive only one signal or have provision for receipt of two signals. In case of single signal the operator has to wait until restoration of the signal. In case of two signals, the operator must notice failure of one signal then move to second signal which may not be fully relied upon since the operator has to continuously monitor the signals. This problem can be overcome by use of this equipment, Optical Redundant Switch ORS 901. This instrument would receive two input signals and transmit one of them to the output depending on the settings. Thus the switching would happen automatically without any human interface, thus avoiding any delays. Thus auto-redundancy can be achieved. Optical Delay Line

Optical Delay line for RF and Microwave applications uses low loss optical fiber to offer fixed delay based on the length of the optical fiber. Optical fiber based delay system offers superior performance for radar testing, signal processing and phased array antennas. In a fiber optic delay line system a transmitter converts the RF signal to an optical modulated signal in the form of time varying laser light intensity which is transmitted over a long optical fiber, length of the fiber being chosen depending on the delay required.
