Omkar Foods And Beverages was founded by Mr. Vijay Shinde B. Tech ( OIL TECHNOLOGY) in 2008 with intent to empower and improve the economic condition of farmer in the villages. First we distribute food products of various companies. This unit is started in 2015 with manufacturing dried lemon. The focus of company has always been value addition to the farmers produce, which in turns helps the farmers, who earn more profit and improve their standard of living. The company also realized that the sometimes farmers face many problems in the times of low productivity and hence low incomes. To give them helping hand Omkar Foods And Beverages developed new technology for dehydration of Fruits, Vegetables and Leaves. The company buys pure raw materials from farmers at good rates, which give them financial assistance. The products are 100% natural and pure, residues and bacteria free, no chemicals or preservatives, or added colours. The social initiative of Omkar Foods And Beverages is rural development, Health for all and women empowerment.
The principle of preservation by dehydration process is to remove the moisture content of a material to a level where micro-organism may not be able to grow and spoil it. Dehydration of vegetables by sun-drying is the oldest known method. Now modern techniques have been developed solar tunnel dryer for dehydration of fruits and vegetables. In this process, the dehydrated product has better flavour, colour, aroma, rehydration, acceptability, etc. in comparison to sundried dehydrated products. There are some dehydrated fruits as LEMON, Onion, Guava, Orange etc.
Also our proposed plan will processing & manufacturing of Lemon Oil, Fried Onion & other Fried Items.
