OMEGA, Roofing Tape is a high tack, self-fusing butyl rubber mastic, ideal for making water and humidity resistant seals.
OMEGA Roofing Tape is a high tack sealant with excellent adhesion to metal, Asbestos, Glass, other roofing and insulating materials.
It maintains its tack and flexibility to temperatures as low as 0F (-18C), ensuring a high quality seal over a wide range of temperatures.

Butyl Based leak-proof Flashing Tapes are adhesive tapes with one side butyl adhesive protected by release film and other side is re-enforced aluminium foil. This tape is very useful to prevent leakages, fill cracks, joints for various surface like Metal, cement, asbestos, fibre, plastic, vinyl etc.

Surface preparation: All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from frost, grease and loose materials. When cleaning contaminated substrates. When applying the tape to porous or friable surfaces, it is recommended that the surface be treated with a suitable primer, such as an exterior grade PVA, to seal and stabilise the surface.
Application: To avoid creasing of the foil, separate the foil and sealant from the backing paper as they are being unwound from the roll. Once applied in place, use a roller to ensure good adhesion to the substrate. Avoid joins in the flashing where possible.
