Reprocessed plastic granules are used to produce packing covers, carry bags, buckets and mugs etc. Hence there is a good scope to recycle used plastic scrap to produce plastic granules, subject to guidelines laid down in Environment Act. Granules are in demand by various industrial units manufacturing plastic products.
PVC-O is an excellent choice for pressure pipes for drinking water. PVC-O is also well suited for buried non-potable applications such as irrigation and sewer pumping mains. PVC-O pipes and fittings are 100% recyclable.

Polypropylene copolymer has a second monomer of ethylene, which increases the impact strength over homopolymer polypropylene. The key properties include high impact strength, good chemical resistance, better resistance to cracking at lower temperatures, enhanced pliability.
For 100 % utilisation of plastic the free flowing granules are reused for production of valuable raw materials. The agglomerators chops the sheets into thin film flakes. Due to the cutting and friction energy of the process, the flakes are heated until they start to melt and form crumbs or agglomerate.
Polyethylene is a common plastic mostly used for packaging. It is a thermoplastic polymer consisting of long hydrocarbon chains, (C2H4)nH2, that differ in chain length. The melting point for high-density polyethylene is typically in the range of T = 120130 C, and for low-density polyethylene about T = 105115 C

LLDPE has a density range of 0.9100.920 kgm3 and it is substantially a linear polymer with significant numbers of short branches. It is commonly produced by copolymerisation of ethylene with short-chain -olefins (e.g. 1-butene, 1-hexene and 1-octene).
