Shunts are manufactured by using high quality maganin wire which is the best material for shunts application with temperature coefficient of only 10 PPM. This gives high stability, cut to required dimension by special cutting machines. Shunts confirm to IS : 1248 (Part 8) 1984

1. Available accuracy class : 0.5, 1.0.2. Required accuracy class should be specified while ordering.3. When current taken by the associated measuring instruments is smaller than the rated current multiplied by the class index of the shunt and divided by 300, the current taken by the associated measuring instrument may be neglected.4. All current connection must be connected whileusing the shunts to ensure the specifications.
