Sliding Bench Type

Sliding bench SB205 is designed specially for the purpose of mounting bench the G.M counter accessories for doing the experiments in a most convenient fashion. This essentially consists of a bench with sliding groves with a graduated S.S scale fixed on one side of it. Scale has graduations both in cm & inches upto 50cm20 inches. There are three vertical sliding mounts, one for mounting of End Wndow G.M detector, Second is Absorber Holder & Third is Source Holder & source mounts. System facilitates entry of ID number for the person and his dose record and glow curve can be stored in the system. TL dosimeter is heated by hot gas (N 2 ) jet to 280 o C using a SS heater assembly & TL output is recorded using PMT where integral of the current output is proportional to the dose. It is a Thermoluminescent dosimeter based personnel monitoring system. GAMMA REFERENCE STANDARD SET

GS290 consists of a set of FIVESIX uncalibrated Gamma reference sources evaporated and sealed on 25mm dia x 5mm plastic disc covering ranging from 100KeV upto 1.33MeV energies with activity in the range of 2 to 5 micro curie. ALUMINIMUM ABSORBER SET

Aluminimum Absorber Set Type : AA 270 offered by NUCLEONIX consists of absorber discs of different thickness ranging from 20 to 300 mgcm.sq. Each of these absorbers is mounted in an individual plastic frame, which fits exactly into the absorber tray of the G.M. stand. The diameter of each disc is approximately 50 mm including the frame. There is identification number for each disc printed on it. A chart showing the identification number and thicknesses of the disc is given in the absorber box which is made up of acrylic sheet. All these discs are housed in this acrylic box. This absorber set will be useful in studying the Beta absorption coefficient using G.M. Counting system.

BETA REFERENCE STANDARD SET

BS 280 consists of a set of FIVE uncalibrated Beta reference sources evaporated and sealed on 25mm dia x 5mm plastic disc covering FIVE photopeak energies with activity in the range of 0.1 to 0.4 micro curie. A reference chart for this is given below. These radioactive sources offered are from BRIT. This BS280 serves as an uncalibrated reference source set, for RC605A with Beta probe --- wide end window GM. We now offer a selection of exempt quantity gamma sources encapsulated in standard size test tubes or rods for use with well type radiation detectors.These sources are exempt sources and of nominal activity. The isotope is deposited as a point source in the bottom of the tube and is then sealed with epoxy. Two tube sizes are stocked as standard, 13x100mm and 12x75mm, which is shipped as the standard if the other size is not specified. Rods are available as 5" x 0.375" -which will be shipped as the standard if the 0.5" diameter rod is not specified and 5" x 0.5".

Power Supply PS401 designed for mating with standard Bin IB401, offers a complete rack mountable assembly or can be housed for table top use. The D.C output voltages furnished by PS401 are +12V and -12V at upto 3A each and +24V and -24V at upto 1.5A each. A 230V A.C power output is also distributed to the Bin. Stand for G.M.Tube Type : SG200 has been designed to hold end window G.M.tubes type GM120GM125. This stand can be housed inside the lead shielding if required. It has both sample and absorber trays, the position of these trays can be adjusted from the end window of the detector. TLD READER SYSTEM Type TL109-D developed and manufactured by NUCLEONIX systems is a personal dosimeter reader system designed to read the dose recorded by the wearer of the TL Dosimeter along with personnel ID punched code on the badge automatically during readout cycle. The TL dosimeter which records the integrated dose received is to be worn by the personnel who are to be monitored for their radiation exposure, which can be estimated on the basis of the TL Dosimeter readings. TLD dosimeter works on the property of certain materials which absorb energy when exposed to X, a or rays. On heating, the absorbed energy is released in the form of visible light which is proportional to the absorbed energy. TLD Badge: It comprises of a plastic badge and thick aluminium card on which three circular holes are punched and teflon embedded TL discs (CaSo4 : Dy) are chipped into the corresponding holes. A symmetric V cut provided in the card permit the card to be loaded in the plastic badge only in one way and ensure proper positioning of the badge in the magazine. The TLD card is provided with three rows of punched holes for the purpose of badge identification. The holes punched in a specified sequence to provide unique ID to each of the personnel.
