### Description:

It is classified as a histamine analogue and acts by stimulating histamine receptors (H1 receptors) while blocking others (H3 receptors), which helps to balance inner ear fluids and relieve the discomfort associated with Mnires disease.

Betahistine is typically available in tablet form and comes in different strengths, such as 8 mg, 16 mg. It is taken orally, usually with or after food to reduce stomach discomfort. Common side effects may include nausea, headache, and mild gastrointestinal disturbances.
