The Weather Centre is comparable to professional weather centers. The unit include all sensors necessary to monitor your inside and outside environment. Incorporating the latest innovations of a PC, permitting the activation and control of low and high alarm, stroboscope warning light, activation of air blower, control valves, sprinkler systems, etc.
Also the unit can be customised to suit your applications.The AustralRad Mini Software package is designed to provide a graphical interface to view and store the data.Allows real-time measurements to be displayed as well as savings results to be viewed at a later stage.The AustralRad Mini settings such as alarm threshold and radiation units are also controlled by the user through the PC.
The Weather Station Software
The Weather Station Software can access the latest weather information from the PC, receiving up to 175 sets of weather data recorded by the base station. This information can then be used to generate useful statistics and charts on Excel spreadsheets. Unlimited data sets can be transferred to PC memory for indefinite history records.A fully functional PC counting with a touchscreen monitor is integrated to the system to provide easy and simple operation.
The several detectors included or to be added are connected to the onboard computer giving a precise and real-time identification of any source type hiding in the assessed containers, pallets or boxes. Even in the case that the radiation source has been concealed in a lead container, the two plastic scintillators are sensitive to detect slight changes in the background of the area. Sufficient information from the multi channel analyzer instructs thecomputer to analyse changes in thebackground. Levels of alarm, time response, etc are programmable according to the requirement of the client or job.
The powerful onboard computer on the R-2 can control all functions and report making it a true flexible inspection, real-time response and mobile nerve center reporting an identified position provided by the onboard Global Position System (GPS).The R-2 computer onboard has been specifically designed for Gammasonics with ample room for customisation.
The system runs on standard Windows XP & WinTMCA32 software permitting input of data by touch-screen. The cradle connection is included, when it is mounted on the R-2 vehicle or Helicopter.Training, preparation of special courses and the service of consultancy in medical, scientific and industrial radiation protection is also available.

AustralRad Mini 3-in-1
The inclusion of a survey meter/area monitor to measure the radiation level inside of the vehicle cabin helping personnel to avoid contamination or exposure. The Austral-Rad is a detachable survey meter that by being removed from the cradle can also be attached to the extension rod giving the capability of close proximity, high activity source measurement.
Vehicle tyre decontaminationIn the case of tyres being contaminated due to road spill, in the aim of reducing this, the is fitted with 50 litre tank of decontamination liquid connected to the jet sprays in the front and back tyres.

ThePRDWDradiation detector can convert any existing metal detector walk through gate into a radiation detector.
The detector can be installed as a remote detector driven by the power of the main unit or can be installed by utilising an external 12 volt power supply. The detector can also be connected to a 12 volt DC battery.
The detector is capable of triggering a relay or a switching device, warning light or buzzer. All these operations can be triggered simultaneously or consecutively.
PRDWDcan also operate in conjunction with biometrics access control.
The unit is simple to understand and install, with a warning light and an audible alarm which will take only minutes.
PRDWD does not detect non- ionsing radiation, for example, mobile telephones, microwaves, radars, etc.
PRDWD detects and indicates the presence of ionising radiation products of the man-made type known as radioisotopes or radionuclides including X-rays (ionising radiation).
The applications of PRDWD are many and are only restricted to the users applications in understanding this device properly.
PRDWD radiation detector requires no modification whatsoever to the existing metal detector walk through gates.
