The Jackets assure consistent valve Heating or Cooling of the process media to prevent crystallization or seizing of flow media. The Jacketed Ball Valve (Heating Jacket Ball Valve) with very well design to help the high temperature steam or oil flow over the valve ball & body parts to keep the media liquid. This applies especially to media like bitumen, asphalt, chocolate, liquid sulfur, molten sulphur, Lactum & Soap application. In addition, the efficient flow of media is ensured through the elimination of pockets. Nivz Valves & Automation offers a variety of Jacketed Ball Valve. The Jacket covers the body from one flange to the other flange. Jacketed Valve body is modified by adding oversize flanges. As example: 4"x 6" Steam Jacketed Ball Valve has the nominal bore of 4" (DN 100) and the flange size is 6"(DN 150). It allows enough space for bolting clearance after jacket fabricated on valve body. Full Jacketed ball valves being used to handle highly viscous materials or materials that solidifies at ambient temperatures. |
Steam, Thermic Fluid Oil (High Temperature Oil) or Hot Water can be used as carrier for heating media.Following quality assurance rules, every valve is tested again after the Jackets have been welded (Fabricated) to the body. Jacket Hydraulic & Air Test is carried out at 6.0 Kg. /Cm2.

mp1108 series ball valve have provision of elliptical gland flange to tight stem seal and can easy to stop leakage. Generally major direct mounting pad ball valve have chinese designed threaded type hex nut to stop leakage from stem, but when they try to tight it, nut always jammed from atmosphere and process media corrosion. Also for tightening the stem nut special types of box spanner required which not easy available everywhere, so against of chinese design our elliptical gland flange is the best for performance.

Why product name is DOUBLE FLANGED END BUTTERFLY VALVE, because a butterfly valve casted body have integral flanges (not fabricated/welded on body as photograph) as like standard flange type gate, globe, check or ball valve. Advantage of flange type butterfly valve is easy to mount without using long bolt stud as wafer type (flangeless) butterfly valve, also can use and easy to mount at dead end of pipe line. Fabricated body double flange type butterfly valve manufacture by in size above 600NB/600mm/24 with Double Off-Set Disc Design (Eccentric Disc) Butterfly Valve. Flange type, concentric disc, rubber seated, slim seal design butterfly valve gives best performance in low pressure and medium temperature application. These types of valves gives class one performance in application of Water, ETP Effluent Treatment Plant, Sea Water, Salt Water, DM Plant, Fire Fighting Line, Raw Water Line, Filter Press, Air Silo, Process Chemical Service, Corrosive Chemical, Fire Water Pump Line, and Cooling Water Media. All types of Tight Shut off, Centric Disc, Rubber Seated Butterfly Valves are cheapest, light weight, easy available, no flange gaskets, easy to install, high performance, ready stock product, major all operation available and easy to manufacture. One more question sometimes arise why we have to use double flanged end type butterfly valve in place of Rising Stem Gate Valve, Bolted Bonnet Globe Valve , Full Bore Ball Valve or Plug Valves. The answer is main low cost, second light in weight, third low torque which saves cost of actuators and fourth tight shutoff - zero leakage in soft rubber seated valve. If pressure and temperature limit cover in range of butterfly valves then it is best selection forever. Why Butterfly Valves are low cost, have cheap rate compare other types of metal valves? The reason is butterfly valve body materials not come in direct contact with flow media, so no need to use any high quality steel materials, cast iron or ductile iron also good for any service. Only the disc material we have required to use high grade of steel to best suitable process media application. Mostly in all valve main body parts always heavy and that cost also much high, here due to saving of body material cost total butterfly valve cost goes down. Selection of elastomer rubber seat is base on process media application and its temperature. Nitrile, Neoprene, EPDM, NBR, Buna-N, Hypalon, Ebonite, Silicon, Viton are seat options as a rubber elastomer for Double Flanged End Butterfly Valves. Sometimes we think how to assemble a butterfly valve, it may be very difficult but it is wrong thinking. Design construction and assembly of Butterfly Valve is very simple. By the help only major four parts total assembly complete of butterfly valve. Main parts of Double Flanged End Butterfly Valve are Body, Seat, Disc and Spindle/Stem. First duly machined body renewable seat or bonded seat fixed on body, second insert a disc on centre of valve body, third enter a spindle from top side centre of body (if spindle is in two part then one from top and another from bottom) now last fourth bolting or pinning joint of disc and spindle to rotate disc along with stem. Three way ball valves have an L or T Shaped Port Hole through the middle for suitable service condition. The different combinations of flow are shown in the figure. It is easy to see that a T valve can connect any pair of ports, or all three. Mixing and Diverting Type Three Way Ball Valves are also available. The L valve can connect the center port to either side port, or disconnect all three, but it cannot connect the side ports together.

Nivz Wafer Type Swing Check Valve has short face to face dimensions and low weight allows a simple space saving installation between the companion flanges.
