XW-Board is a I/O expansion board inserted uPAC-5000, LP-51xx, and WP-51xx with Modbus protocol for expanding I/O functions. The XW-Board allows users to implement various I/O functions such as DI, DO, AI, AO, Timer/Counter, Serial Communication I/O functions.
This manual assumes that the user has some knowledge of commissioning and programming of Modbus devices, including some knowledge of the Modbus protocol and your controller unit.
One PAC can only plug only one XW-board.The XW-board series have following common specification:
There are two types of I/O communication bus, parallelbus and serial bus. The parallel bus type I/O modules (highprofile I-8K series) are high speed ones used only in thePACs including XPAC, WinPAC, iPAC, ViewPAC, etc. And theserial bus type I/O modules (high profile I-87K series) arelow speed ones used in both PACs including XPAC, WinPAC, iPAC, ViewPAC, etc., and I/O expansion units including RU-87Pn, ET-87Pn, USB-87Pn, etc.
Parallel I/O Modules (I-8KW Series) Includes
Serial I/O modules (I-87KW Series) Includes
With a range of standard communication interfaces and a dualbackplane bus permitting I/O expansion. The dual backplane bus is hybrid in nature providing the facility toconnect either serial or parallel I/O modules.
The parallel bus isused for high speed data transfer. The unit can communicate using serial communications (RS-232, RS-485), Ethernet, or CAN bus. The Ethernet version of theproduct supports an integrated web server permitting Internet andIntranet applications.
With different communication interface, the I/O modules can be classified to high communication speed (Parallel bus) 8K series modules and low communication speed (serial interface) 87K series modules.

I-87K4 is an I/O expansion unit to expand I/O via the RS-485. It is designed to be used in harsh and noisy environment, so the hardware is manufactured with wide power input range (10 30 VDC), isolated power input and can operate under wide temperature (-25 +75 °C). To simplify installation and maintenance of I/O modules.
There are more than 30 I/O modules supported with the unit, including analog input/output, digital input/output, counter, frequency I/O modules. We provide various software development kits (SDK) and demos, such as DLL, ActiveX, Labview driver, InduSoft driver, Linux driver, OPC server. The I-87K series I/O modules plugged in the I-87Kn can be easily integrated into variant software system.
Features :
RU-87P1 is a remote intelligent I/O expansion unit that used to expand I-87K series I/O modules over the RS-485 for industrial monitoring and controlling applications. There are more than 50 I/O modules supported with the unit, including analog input/output, digital input/output, and counter/frequency I/O modules.
RU-87P1 is designed to be used in harsh and noisy environment, so the hardware is manufactured with wide power input range (10 30 VDC) and operating temperature (-25 °C +75 °C). It simplifies installation and maintenance of I/O modules with hot swappable and auto configuration, fault and error detection, dual watchdog, programmable power on and Safe Values.
Various software development kits (SDK) and demos are provided, such as PACSDK, LabVIEW driver, InduSoft driver, Linux driver, OPC Server, etc. The I-87K series I/O modules plugged in the RU-87Pn can be easily integrated into variant software system.

X-Board is Series has following common specifications
X-Board is a small I/O expansion board inserted in μPAC (μPAC-7186 Series & I-7188 series) for expanding I/O functions. Most μPACs (except some modules like I-7188 & I-7188D) support one I/O expansion bus. Each bus can be plugged in one X-Board. The X-Board allows users to implement various I/O functions such as DI, DO, A/D, D/A, Timer/Counter, UART, flash memory, battery backup SRAM, AsicKey& other I/O functions.
Users may choose our functioned X-Boards (model number X1xx X7xx) or design their own I/O expansion boards (module number X0xx). We have designed several X-Boards for expanding the μPAC's features. If users choose a small size X-Board, then they can mount this I/O expansion board directly onto the μPAC. Customized I/O Expansion Boards can be ordered through ODM project.

The M-6000 series of distributed I/O provides a wide variety of input, output, and smart control solutions, all of which are based on a single universal hardware platform. The M-6000 series combines inputs and outputs, saving your time and space when both are at a premium. Since M-6000 series feature both inputs and outputs on the same board, retailers can reduce the space requirement for I/O boards by as much as 50%! Traditional I/O board schemes required retail operators to mount separate input and output boards within an enclosure, increasing the time and cost to mount the boards. The M-6000 I/O boards are communications devices needed to connect to the facility management system to control refrigeration, HVAC and lighting systems.
Features :
The M-2000 series is a family of network data acquisition and control modules with digital or analog I/O functions. The modules can be remotely controlled through an RS-485 serial bus by using DCON and Modbus RTU/ASCII protocols. The selectable transmission speed of the RS-485 port is up to 115, 200 bps. Modbus has facto standard communications protocol in industry, and is now the most commonly available means of connecting industrial electronic devices. The M-2000 series is slim-type Form Factor I/O that provides the saving space for the installation, easy wiring and distributed I/O points applications. The bias resistor and terminal resistor by switch selectable that is used to improve the communication and solve the communication fail of RS-485 network.
Features :
The tM series is a family of network data acquisition and control modules, providing digital I/O functions. The modules can be remotely controlled through an RS-485 serial bus by using DCON and Modbus RTU protocols. The selectable transmission speed of the RS-485 port is up to 115, 200 bps. Modbus has become a de facto standard communications protocol in industry, and is now the most commonly available means of connecting industrial electronic devices. This makes the tM series perfect integration with the HMI, SCADA, PLC and other software systems.
