Crystal Sugar Handling System

Sugar bags of capacity 50 or 100 kgs are placed on bag tilter. These bags are then lifted and tilted to empty it in the weighing tank. The weighing tank is placed on load cells connected to the PLC. The vent valve and the inlet valve is open. After receiving the sugar these valves are closed. Batch Ready is displayed at the discharge end. We can also have multiple discharge points. On demand the blower and vibrator starts the discharge valve also opens to transfer the sugar pneumatically. The discharged quantity of sugar is recorded. We can get the total consumption data on the display.

Sugar Syrup Preparation System


Sugar Syrup Preparation system consists of a s.s. Preparation tank with heating arrangement. The heating can be provided in 3 options.
1) Electrical. 2) Thermic fluid. 3) Steam heating.
The system is very simple to operate. Once the operator starts the panel in auto mode required quantity of water will be automatically filled in the Preparation tank. The quantity of water in metered by a flow meter which is connected to the Plc. The Plc then on sensing the water quantity starts the heaters.
When the temperature rises to 95deg. C. the buzzer will alert the operator and the display shows ADD SUGAR. The stirrer is also starded before charging the sugar. Sugar can be charged just by pressing a button which gives command to Sugar handling system. Also we can manually charge the sugar.
When the temperature reaches 105 deg. C once again the buzzer will alert the operator and the display shows ADD ACID. Acid is added manually.
The heaters will stop and SYRUP READY is displayed. The syrup can be cooled by passing the syrup through heat exchanger or by natural cooling.
The syrup is then stored in the storage tanks.
