Cryptococcosis, also known as cryptococcal disease, is another fungal disease associated with pigeon droppings and also grows in soils throughout the world.

Psittacosis, also known as parrot fever is a zoonotic infectious disease caused by a bacterium called Chlamydophila psittaci and contracted from parrots, pigeons and sparrows.When bird droppings dry and become airborne people may inhale them and get sick.
