Neo's family of acrylated alkyd are specially designed medium oil resins based on Oxidising mixed fatty acid. They are pale yellow viscous liquid. They are completely soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones, esters, higher alcohol, glycol ethers, insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons and water. They are compatible with short oil alkyds, acrylated alkyds, amino resins and are incompatible with medium and long oil alkyd resins. They find extensive application in Varnishes for metal decoration and for manufacture of fast drying enamel coatings. These resins impart excellent water, petrol, oil resistance properties to finished products.

Neo's family of alkyd resins is an extensive one. It consists of Long Oil/Medium Oil/Short Oil Resins. These resins are based on different types of semi-drying oils, DCO, Soya Fatty Acid and this are insoluble in water but soluble in aromatic and aliphatic solvents. They are used for making of air drying and stoving enamels, quick drying primers and clear coats, for giving better gloss and non yellowing property in finished products. Amino Resins are resins formulated by adding formaldehyde to amino compounds like melamine, benzoguanamine, or urea, then undergoing a condensation reaction and etherification with aliphatic monohydric alcohol. They are used as curing agents for thermosetting coatings. There are two types of amino resins: urea-formaldehyde (UF) and melamine-formaldehyde (MF). Neo Amino resins are based on Butylated melamine formaldehyde. They are soluble in alcohols, esters ketones, glycol ethers, aromatic hydrocarbons it has limited soluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons and is insoluble in water. NEO Amino resins are compatible with all short oil alkyds. Oil free polyester, medium and high molecular weight epoxy resin, epoxy ester , thermosetting acrylics, and PVB resins. Being highly reactive and are used for curing of short oil alkyd, imparting excellent hardness, sharp gloss and mar- proofness to stoving system.

Hammertone Resins are dark brown viscous liquid resin based on Acrylated Semi-Saturated Phenol Resin made by Polymerising Refined Cardanol & its acrylation. They are Soluble in aromatic Solvents, White sprit, esters, ketones, higher alcohols, glycol ethers, insoluble in non- polar solvents & water. They are Compatible with most acrylated resins and are incompatible with medium & long oil alkyds. These are recommended for use in dark color coating enamels, primers and varnishes for fast drying industrial finishes. It offers excellent resistance to water. For roller coatings, aromatic solvents in the boiling range of 165 200 deg. C are recommended. For pigmented roller coating enamels traces of Metallic driers may be used to increase surface hardness.

These are Rosin Modified Phenolic Resin or Rosin modified Maleic Resin. Rosin modified Phenolic Resin are vacuum treated product of esterification of pentaerythritol with the poly condensation of rosin, Bisphenol A and paraformaldehyde. Rosin Modified Maleic Resin vacuum treated product of esterification of pentaerythritol with the poly condensation of rosin, and maleic anhydride. They are recommended for enhance gloss, quick drying of paints and varnishes etc.

These resins are completely soluble in Aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones and esters. And good soluble in Aliphatic hydrocarbons. They are compatible with most long and medium oil alkyds, Drying oils and varnishes. They find extensive use in use in Paints, printing inks, varnishes and hammer tone paints etc.

Neo's CNSL resin is a specially developed Aldehyde-Reactive Plasticizer Resin based on Cashew Nut Shell Liquid Oil. This is insoluble in water but soluble in aromatic solvents. They are compatible with most of other synthetic resins. They find use for making of air drying and stoving dark shaded enamels, varnish for lamination purpose, primers, etc.

Neos Chain Stop Resins are short oil oxidizing alkyd developed for use in a wide range of vehicle refinishing fast air drying and stoving application. This resin can be used for making two pack application system. These resins are completely soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones and esters but partially soluble in aliphatic hydrocarbon and alcohols. Solvent. They are compatible with all short oil alkyd some medium oil alkyd, long oil and amino resins. It is also compatible with isocyanate adduct.

NEOPOXY RESIN & HARDENER systems are specially formulated product based on epoxy resins and amine based hardener. This product react by cross linking to form cured hard mass at room temperature. RESIN & HARDENER are to be mixed as per ratio suggested in data sheet and application to be completed within the pot life of the mixed product.
