Drying Plant (DDGS)

Drying plant in grain based distillery plant is used to convert wet cake from decanter and concentrated syrup from evaporators to dry and make DDGS, which is used as cattle feed. This dryer makes the grain based distillery plant as complete zero effluent discharge plant at the same time it give the additional revenue by selling DDGSRotating shell with variable speed control ensures very less steam consumption as compared to air dryer, flash dryer or spray dryer. The moisture content in final product can also be easily controlled by recycling the product

Water Polishing Unit

Condensate Polishing Unit Successfully commissioned one plant. Water is reused as Cooling Tower makeup. Condensates from Evaporation Plant and Spent Lees can be treated to be able to reuse as Process Water or as Cooling Tower Makeup Treatment Scheme is Anaerobic Digestion with Aeration followed by Clarification and Sludge Drying. The Supernatant Liquid is then filtered through Chlorine Contact Chamber, Pressure Sand Filter and Activated Carbon Filter. Softener can be added to the above if Water is to be used as Cooling Tower Makeup. Ultra-Filtration and Reverse Osmosis needs to be installed if treated water is to be reused in process. Achievable treated water can have COD < 250 ppm post ACF and COD almost Nil post RO.

Acetaldehyde Chemical Plant

We are offering acetaldehyde ethanol (ethyl alcohol) is converted to acetaldehyde by vapour phase reaction. The reaction is a combination of oxidation & dehydrogenation. Ethyl alcohol vapours mixed with air are passed over silver catalyst maintained at 450o - 500o c. The reaction products are condensed. Uncondensed gases are sent to two scrubbers in series to recover aldehyde and alcohol. The condensate and the absorbate thus obtained is sent to a distillation column to obtain pure aldehyde product from the top. The bottom consisting of alcohol - water mixture is passed through reactor tubes in order to recover the heat of reaction. The vapours formed are sent to the aldehyde distillation column and the over flow liquid is sent to another distillation column to recover unconverted alcohol which is turn is recycled through carburattor. the process is operated at elevated pressure so as to increase the boiling point of acetaldehyde and thereby the necessity of using chilled water for aldehyde condensers is eliminated.the product acetaldehyde is stored under inert gas n2 blanket.
