These large diameter Lifting Electro Magnets transport steel scrap in scrap processing yard and foundries. They can handle tonnes of scrape continuously throughout the day. Lifting Magnets are used in metal working plants and hoist and transport steel parts, forgings, castings, plates, blooms, channels, angles, rods and bars. They save time and effort because they can lift steel more quickly and conveniently than any other Mechanical devices.
With Lifting Magnets there is no need to attach and secure lifting supports. Nor it is necessary to block up loads on the floor or to move for mechanical devices.Although the largest models are powerful enough to hoist thousands of Kgs, the lifting force depends on both the thickness and type of surface of the steel object.The force is more effective on thick, flat and clean steel than on thin, irregular or rusted steel.
Rotary clean flow magnets remove iron particles from powders and granulate.This Prevents damages of expensive machines and guarantees an iron-free final product.As its magnet rods are mounted above each other in staggered position, the non-rotary clean flow magnet is only suitable for materials, which easily flow through the machine. Hot Ingots and Slabs are handed by Rectangular Lifting Magnets. Ingot casting moulds are also handled with Rectangular Lifting Magnets both before and after the casting process. Steel blooms are most effectively handled by means of Rectangular Magnets.
Large Plates are handled either by Circular or Rectangular (Tripolar) Lifting Magnets. Normally more than one magnet is used, particularly when complex manipulation such as turning for inspection each side is required. With Special control Gear designed by us, a pack of unstrapped plates can be lifted and released individually in a controlled manner. To handle thin plates (from 3 mm 12 mm thick) when minimal bending or deflection is important. In profiling shops, the full plate may be lifted with all magnets on to profiling bed and selected magnet switched to lift individual pieces, parts or scrapes. Rectangular (Tripolar) Magnets are used to handle plate from 5-150 mm thick in sizes up to 4m by 30 m long.

These Specially Shaped Separators are used in Rectangular Chutes and Round Pipe. Where flow seeds and depths exceed the capacity of plate magnets. Humps are recommended if the flow is vertical or if the angle of the chute is the more than 70 degrees. The angular shape of the housing conducts the powder of angular material directly against the plate magnets. The product steam strikes the first magnet, and then changes direction to hit the second magnet.
Thus the flow agitates the material, resulting in a better separation then with convention chute separators.If product flow is light, one Magnet in the half hump model may provide sufficient separation

TYPES OF HOPPER MAGNETS:
These Magnets are usually mounted above Belt Conveyor with the purpose of extracting Pieces of tramp iron from material being transported. The increasing sizes of arc and induction furnaces necessitate large requirements of handling scrap, especially unloading from the incoming vehicles as well as feeding the furnace platform or charging baskets.
