Copper pipe is almost pure copper manufactured to the requirements ofASTM B 42 - Standard Specification for Seamless Copper Pipe, Standard Sizes. It may be manufactured from any of five (5) copper alloys (C10200, C10300, C10800, C12000, C12200) that all conform to the chemical composition requirements of alloys containing a minimum of 99.9% Copper (Cu) and a maximum of 0.04% Phosphorous (P). Available sizes are 1/8" to 12" diameters in regular wall thickness and 1/8" to 10" in extra strong wall thickness. The standard length for copper pipe is 12 feet. Copper pipe is suitable for plumbing, boiler feed lines, refrigeration and for similar purposes.
Joints in seamless copper pipe can be threaded, flanged or brazed to fittings of the appropriate joint configuration.

admiralty brass tubes:
admiralty brass tubes c44300-has good corrosion resistance and is specially used for tubing of steam condensers cooled with fresh, salt or brackish water. admiralty metal tubes are also used for heat exchangers in oil refineries, in which corrosion from sulphur compounds and contaminated water may be very severe, and for feed-water heaters and heat-exchanger equipment as well as other industrial processes.

a copper zinc alloy containing tin and small amount of arsenic which is added as an inhibitor against dezincification. the pressure of tin imparts to the alloy good corrosion resistance in moderately polluted river water and clean sea water, either stagnant or slow moving (up to 2 metres/sec.). this is the most common and wrought form of tube for heat exchange equipment.

To avoid the risk of deposit attack, it is generally recommended to never operate at water velocities below about 0.8-1 m/s (2.5-3.5 ft/s). 90/10 Cupro Nickel can also be used, with appropriately reduced flow velocity, in contact with water containing some sulphides or suspended solids. It is also often selected for its good mechanical properties, both at room and relatively elevated temperatures.
