Applications:

it consists of wheat wheel, spur pinion mounted on the end of the wheat wheel shaft. This is meshed with spur gear which is mounted on the end of the water wheel shaft. Water wheel is fitted with cups. These cups are fitted on to the water wheel by means of a nut and spring washer. These water wheels revolve in a water tank. The level of water is maintained in this tank by means of a float ball. The grain by its fall revolves the wheat wheel and its motion is imparted through the spur pinion and gear to the water wheel, the cups on the water wheel lifts up the water from the water tank and deposits into the semi-circular catach trough from where it flows into the inclined trough and out of the machine into the stream of grain. It will be clearly seen that the greater the quality of grain passing through the wheat wheel, the faster will it revolve and consequently more water will be lifted, the percentage of moisture addition to the grain thus remains constant. No power is required to drive these machines as the weight of grain falling on to paddles is sufficient to produce the motive power.

The machine effectively removes outer husks and crease dirt by its intense scouring action, and will reduce in size and therefore remove through the sieve apertures. It also removes soil and loosens any adhering dirt from the outer layer of the wheat kernel.
