PU Sealant Grey

Single component highly elastic and durable Polyurethane Sealant for internal as well as external use. DESCRIPTIONPerma PU Sealant – Grey is a highly flexible and durable Polyurethane Sealant which is ideal for sealing joints in internal as well as external surfaces of the building. Perma PU Sealant – Grey has good adhesion to a variety of building materials and surfaces. USESPerma PU Sealant – Grey is used in expansion joints internally and externally. It is ideal for use at the junction of precast elements of building. It is used for sealing joints between dissimilar materials such as metal, wood concrete etc. ADVANTAGES

• Perma PU Sealant – Grey is tough and hence resists foot traffic. It is suitable for sealing expansion joints in the walkways and on podiums.
• Perma PU Sealant – Grey is resistant to UV light hence in the exposed conditions its color is unaffected.
• Perma PU Sealant – Grey can be painted over with enamel paints so that the uniformity
• of the appearance can be mentained.
• Perma PU Sealant – Grey is resistant to a high degree of temperature exposures. It can
• resist temperatures between -30°C to +120°C.
• Perma PU Sealant – Grey is very strong in adhesive properties and is suitable for use in a variety of surfaces such as concrete metal and wood without a primer.
• Upon curing Perma PU Sealant – Grey creates a smooth and even surface

METHOD OF APPLICATION

The edges of the joint to be sealed must be clean and should not contain any oil, grease, dust dirt or moisture. Fill the sealant along the joint to be sealed taking care not to form any air pockets, and there after tool the joint to a smooth surface with a suitable spatula. A bond breaking tape needs to be used to ensure that the sealant does not contact the bottom of the joint. The joint width to depth ratio may be maintained at 1:1 up to 15 mm width and thereafter joint width to depth ratio could be 2:1. Clean the equipment and tools immediately after use when the sealant is still wet with ethyl acetate or a suitable solvent.Upon drying it can only be cleaned by mechanical means.

PACKINGPerma PU Sealant – Grey is available in 600 ml sausages. SHELF LIFEPerma PU Sealant – Grey has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.

Perma Polyseal is a two part poly sulphide sealant based on poly sulphide resin, curing agents, select fillers, plasticisers and vulcanising agents. when the base and curing a get are mixed it forms an uniform colour mass which can either be poured in to the horizontal expansion joints or gunned into the vertical joint depending upon the grade. Essentially Perma Polyseal is available in tow grades. pouring grade for horizontal application and gun grade for non slump vertical application. Primary Uses :Perma Polyseal is an expansion joint sealant useful in sealing horizontal as well as vertical joints. Perma Polyseal is used for sealing reappearing cracks on the roofs, shear cracks in the brick works and joints in water tanks. Perma Polyseal is used for sealing gaps between the building material of different structures such as concrete and wood, glass and aluminum, and exterior glazing. It is used in expansion joints varying between 6mm to 50 mm. Advantages :

Perma Acri Seal is an acrylic sealant available in brilliant white colour for sealing gaps around window and door frames. Styrofoam board, particle board panels etc. It can also be used for sealing fine moving cracks at the junctions of column / beam and brickwork and for sealing general cracks in plasters prior to painting. Can be used to seal the annul a spaces in collar joints of sanitary plumbing and to seal the junction of pipe and the sleeve in the pressure pipe joints. To seal all joints in CI, GI and PVC tubes. Advantages :
