Paraffin Gauze Dressing consists of a leno-weave fabric, which has been impregnated with white or yellow soft paraffin. It is supplied covered between two vegetable parchment papers and packed in a peelable pouch and It is Gamma irradiated to sterilize it.

Application :

It is best for Burns, Skin Graft, bed sores etc Where Non adherent dressing is required. The dressing is used as a primary wound contact layer and the paraffin is present to reduce the adherence of the product to the surface of a granulating wound.

The Dressing is covered between two vegetable parchment papers and packed in a peel able pouch and Gamma irradiated for guaranteed sterility.

Application :

• To protect the wound from infection in Burns, Skin Graft, bedsores  & ulcers where there is danger of infection or wound is already infected
• Minor burns and scalds
• Lacerations, abrasions and other skin loss wounds
• Donor and recipients graft sites
• Leg ulcers
• The dressing is used as a primary wound contact layer and the paraffin is present to reduce the adherence of the product to the surface of a granulating wound

Excel Gel provides fast, one-step relief for emergency first aid when someone has been burned. The dressing stops burn progression and cools the skin, relieves pain and protects against airborne contamination. It is made with a scientifically formulated cooling gel and a medical- grade foam pads. They are non-adherent so they will not stick to burn injuries. The dressings are soaked in a water-soluble, bacteriostatic and biodegradable gel and sterilized to ensure a contamination-free atmosphere for emergency treatment of burns.
