We offer Chiffon Fabric.Chiffon is made from cotton, silk, or synthetic fibres. When held up to the light, chiffon strongly resembles closely woven netting. It can be dyed to almost any shade, but chiffon made from polyester can be difficult to dye. Due to its delicate nature, chiffon must be hand washed very gently. Silk chiffon is the most prized, since it has a rich shimmer and slick texture. It is also surprisingly strong for its weight. Since silk chiffon is made from a natural fibre, it tends to be more expensive than synthetics and should be dry cleaned. The yarns are twisted when woven in an alternating S and Z-twist this causes the fabric to pucker a little in each direction after woven in, giving it a slightly rough feel and some stretch.
