Dressing Scissors available in three types:
Blunt/blunt Scissor has blunt tip ends which is the most commonly used as it is difficult to cause unwanted damage with blunt tips, i.e. when removing a dressing.
Blunt/sharp Scissor has one blunt tipped blade and a sharp tipped blade and so is useful where a sharp point may be needed but retains the blunt tip to offer protection to the surrounding area, i.e. use the blunt tip towards the patient when removing a dressing.
Sharp/sharp Scissors are the least commonly used scissors but are preferred by some care must be taken with the sharp points to avoid iatrogenic damage.

Babcock Forceps are finger ring, ratcheted, non-perforating forceps used to grasp delicate tissue. They are frequently used with intestinal and laparotomy procedures. Backhaus Towel Clamp is used for fixing drapes to the skin of anesthetized patients. The instrument is a scissor action with ratchet fixation at the finger loops and a sharp, incurving, needle-like blade.
There are a number of ways in which a towel clamp can be positioned. The clamp may connect two towels, or clip tp a frame, and in the case of the Backhaus towel clamp, it can also clamp directly to the patients skin. Morris Retractor is used to retract abdominal wall incisions, loin incisions and subcostal wounds. It can fit a diverse variety of wounds at any depth. The handle is fenestrated with an oval ring that can offer easier tractions for an assistant fingers. The neck is long and slim, and bends at a right angle to form a flat transversely curved blade. The beak-shaped terminal rim of the retractor prevents its slippage from the wound.
Artery forceps are used for grasping and compressing an artery to control bleeding, typically using handles that can be held in place by a locking mechanism.
