Semi-automatic terminations allow connectors to be brought into the crimp area where the operator presents the wire to the connector prior to termination. Once the wire and connector are aligned, the operator presses a switch and the press terminates the connector onto to the wire. The operator generally will be required to remove the connector once the termination is complete. TM-3000 Crimp Press System 120V AC and 240V AC versions are designed to provide an effective method of applying a wide range of side-feed and rear-feed terminals to a pre-stripped discrete wire or cable. These 2.0 tons presses are capable of crimping up to 8 AWG products and accept the Molex Modular Tape Base unit. This press system comes standard with the air hook-up, split-cycle switch, double-index switch, terminal oiler, tool kit, LED light, and a counter. This press system uses industry-standard applicators similar to the Molex Mini-Mac and FineAdjust applicators. TM-4000 Crimp Press System 240V AC version is designed to provide an effective method of applying a wide range of side-feed and rear-feed terminals to a pre-stripped discrete wire or cable. The TM-4000 press is the only press designed to operate the Molex Modular Tape Base unit for 2 AWG un-insulated and 4 AWG insulated Mylar tape product. This press system comes standard with the air hook-up, split-cycle switch, double-index switch, terminal oiler, tool kit, LED light, and a counter. TM-2000 Crimp Press System is an industry standard press system that has been replaced by the Molex TM-3000 crimp press system; however, it is still supported and used in the field today. TM-40 and TM-42 Press Systems have been replaced by the Molex TM-3000 and Molex TM-4000 press systems, using the T2 Terminator Crimp Module; however, they are still supported and used in the field today. These press systems use exclusive Molex T2 and Terminator dies.
