HOB CUTTERS :- MDTPL manufactures Gear Cutting Tools like Gear Cutting Hobs, Spline cutting Hobs and Chain Sprocket Hobs.Hobs are made from selected High Quality High Speed Steel grades.All the manufacturing operations like Machining, Profile Releiving, Heat-treatment, Grinding and Sharpening are done in-house with world class machinery and equipment.
MDTPL offers following Range of Hob-cutters
1. GEAR CUTTING HOB CUTTERS : : MOHINDRA Gear Cutting Hobs are manufactured with Bore and Key-way or with End Drive Slot.
Hobs are made in Single Start as well as Multi start Pitches generally in Machine Relieved forms (Class C) and also in Ground Relieved forms (Class A & B).
Hobs with Special features like Topping, Semi-Topping, Protoburence etc.can also be manufactured.
MOHINDRA Gear Cutting Hobs have Accurate Profile and other Parameters. Gear Hobs are manufactured in following sizes :

2. SPLINE CUTTING HOB CUTTERS: These Hob cutters are manufactured as per Standard and as per Specific requirements of the customer for Straight Sided Splines and Involute Splines. Spline Gear Hobs in Machine Relieved profiles with following features:-i.With Lugs Without Chamfer ii.Without Lugs Without Chamfer iii. With Lugs and Chamfer iv. Without full Fillet Radius without Chamfer .
3. CHAIN SPROCKET HOB CUTTERS : MDTPL manufactures Chain Sprocket Hobs in Machine Relieved Profiles confirming to IS, BS, DIN and ASA specifications with bore and keyway or with End Drive Slot.
Roller chain sprocket hobs are made for following sizes :

MDTPL has developed Thread Rolling Flat Dies for Self Taping Screws of types A, AB, B and other types.
ROLFAST steel screw dies are made from fine Raw mateial and machined and threaded with utmost accuracy.
ROLFAST Dies roll the perfect form and clean point on self taping screws.
The dies are made for popular dies sections such as WF, TR series and other series.Dies are made for Screw size #2 - # 14 and also for Lag Bolts, Wood Screws and other fasteners with Gimlet point.
MDTPL manufactures Circular Thread Rolling Dies for Precision Thread Rolling of Fasteners, auto-parts and components.These rolls are Generally made from Cold work Tools Steel (D2/equivalent material) and also made in High Speed Steel (M2).These dies have accurately Ground thread forms and give high life.
Circular Thread Rolling Dies are made in Both types of feed, Thru-feed and In-feed type. Special treated dies are also made foe thread rolling of tough to roll materials like Stainless steel and Fasteners of After Heattreatment state (AHT) .
MDTPL makes Circular Thread Rolling Dies in Maximum diameter upto 300mm and width maximum 250mm with any size of Bore diameter.3 pc.sets are also made as per requirement.These dies are made for all thread standards viz.Metrics ( Pitch 0.8mm-6mm), Unifieds/British threads (Pitch 4 tpi-32 tpi) and other thread forms like ACME, Knuckle, Buttress etc.

The dies are made of Selected Cold Work Tools Steel, which is carefully Machined, Grinded and Heattreated.Thread Rolling Flat Dies are made in Ground Form and also in Milled Form.

ROLFAST Taps are made from High speed Steel which are carefully machined and then Heat treated to optimum hardness as well as toughness utilizing In-house facilities.
Threads are Ground on Highly accurate Thread Grinder machines and thread parameters are controlled to standards utilizing High magnification Profile Comparators and PCD micrometers.
ROLFAST taps are made for all Thread standards viz.Metrics (8mm-100mm), Inches(5/16"-4").
ROLFAST taps are made in all forms like Short Nut taps, Long Nut Taps, Hand taps and Pipe threading taps.
