The zone surrounding the retentive element is of vital importance to good oral hygiene. It must be free and easy to clean. That is why the Ceka Revax attachment has a periodontal friendly female. It starts right underneath the natural contact point of the crown, and makes basal gingival contact. The space between female and crown may still be rinsed, and is easy to clean for patients.

The shape and dimensions of a retentive element all too often prevent good esthetics, leading to unaesthetic constructions with oversized crowns. The center of the Ceka Revax female lies exactly in the long axis of the secondary crown. To allow a natural transition to this crown, the female profile is slightly reduced to the buccal. This creates more space for acrylic resin or porcelain veneering. With Ceka Revax, you may always achieve an optimum result.

A cast partial denture consists of a metal framework for retention, combined with tissue colored acrylic and replacement teeth. Partial dentures are used when one or more natural teeth remain in the upper or lower jaw.

As compared to conventional acrylic denture, Cast Partial Denture is stronger, more durable and retentive. However, the fabrication of cast partial denture is more costly, time-consuming and complex as compared to the conventional acrylic dentures. Each denture is specifically designed and fabricated to the individual patient.

This is a removable partial denture that is retained by intra-coronal, extra-coronal or stud attachments. This type of precision prosthesis can be tooth supported, tooth and tissue supported, tooth and implant supported or implant and tissue supported. Precision attachment partials are designed in conjunction with new crowns or implants when esthetic expectations, improved retention and stability are required. A precision attachment partial is retained with metal to metal mechanical interlocking parts that are machined or milled to extremely high tolerances.
