The Weigh Screw Feeder is rugged, mechanically simple, has only several moving parts and requires an absolute minimal amount of maintenance. The weigh screw and its housing are constructed of all MS SS; continuously seal welded and ground smooth. The auger is then polished, plated and polished again to achieve an extremely hard and smooth surface capable of resisting adhesion and wear. Screw Weigh Feeders utilize a specially designed screw conveyor as the weighingconveying means that not only provides total product confinement, but also, eliminates the typical problematic environmental difficulties usually experienced with the common variety of weigh belt type weigh feeders.
Quality assurance demands accurate and reliable process measurements and controls. To help to meet quality needs of your organization and your customers, you need a quality belt weigher. Belt weigher (also called belt scale) is used to totalize the bulk material carried by belt conveyor and to measure bulk material flow rate TPH. The belt weigher can be installed on new or existing belt conveyor. The system consists of a robust Frame set of weigh Idler, set of Non weighing idlers, a belt speed sensor and an electronic controller. The Frame assembly is suspended on a strong flexure system and transmits the applied material load to a sealed load cell or load cells depending upon the accuracy of measurement desired. Weighing idlers are mounted on weighing frame and leveled in line with Non weighing idlers.

Loss-in-Weigh Feeders are based on continuous weight loss measurement with respect to time principle. Weigh hopper with a screw feeder is installed on three load cells of suitable capacity, which in turn connected to Load transmitter to convert it into 4-20mA output for Weigh feeder controller. In a second 30-40 weighments are done for bulk material in the weigh hopper and loss of weight with respect time (i.e. feed rate) is calculated. It generates output for controlling the speed of the screw feeder to get desired TPH. The hopper is slowly emptied (normally 3 to 30 minutes between refills) at constant feed rate. While refilling, the last TPH is recorded, speed is kept constant and refilling is done in short interval. Material during refilling is assumed to be fed at constant feed rate (i.e. volumetric feeding) and totalizer is updated to get the best accuracy at continuous feeding.
