Profile plug gauges are used to check the outer profiles of the job or the work piece.
Snap Gauges are used to measure the outside diameters of the job or the work piece.
Ring Gauges are used to measure the outside diameters of the cylindrical objects whose Inner diameter is finished to close tolerances.
Setting Ring Gauges are the master ring gauges which are made of standard dimensions so that it is easy to compare its reading to the Inner diameter of the work piece and the difference between them is noted easily.
Taper plug gauge is very similar to plug gauge but in taper plug gauge the taper bore is checked.
Pin Gauges are used to measure the small diameter holes with its GO and NOGO sides which are ground to close tolerances.
Plug Gauges are used for checking the bore inner diameter and width or the gap between the ribs or fins with its GO and NOGO sides i.e., GO should enter and NOGO should not enter the bore Inner diameter.
Flush pin Gauge is used to measure the depth and diameter of the very small diameters of the bore.
