Phosphorous is second most essential nutrient after Nitrogen for plants and is applied to soil in the form of phosphate fertilizers. However, a large portion of soluble inorganic phosphate which is applied to the soil as chemical fertilizer is immobilized rapidly and becomes unavailable to plants. The plant by itself utilizes only 10-15% of phosphate applied. The balance 85-90% remains in insoluble form in the soil. The Phosphorus Solubilizing Bacteria has highly efficient phosphate solubilizing microorganism (PSM) that grows and secretes organic acids, which dissolve this unavailable phosphate into soluble form and make it available to the plants. Thus, the residual phosphate fertilizers in the soil can be well utilized and external application can be optimized. PSB have attracted the attention of agriculturists as soil inoculums to improve the plant growth and yield. The use of PSB as inoculants increases the P uptaken by plants.

Mode of Action : Production of organic acids near the plant root zone play an important role in mobilization organic and inorganic phosphates in soil.

Dose & Method of Application :   

• Seed Treatment : 250 g of DP plus in 300-400 ml water and mixed thoroughly. Ten kg seeds are treated with this paste and dried in shade. The treated seeds have to be sown as soon as possible.
• Seedling Root Dip : 250 g of DP Plus are suspended in 50 ltrs of water & mixed thoroughly. The roots of seedlings are dipped in for 8-10 minutes and treated seedlings have to be transplanted ASAP.
• Soil Treatment : 3-5 kg of DP plus is mixed in 200 kg of compost and kept overnight. This mixture is incorporated in soil at the time of sowing or planting in one acre.
• Suggested Crops : All Kinds of crops.

Mycorrhizal BiofertilizerRaiza is a symbiotic fungus called Mycorrhizae that remains in the roots of plants.

 

Advantages of Raiza

• Pit Application : Mix about 30 g of Raiza with 300 grams of compost and fill in the pits before planting. After planting, mix about 30 grams of Raiza with 300 grams of compost and apply in basins around the plants/trees. For perennial trees, three applications are required in three consecutive years
• Field Application : 4 Kg of Raiza with about 30-50 kg Farm Yard Manure or soil or fine sand and broadcast in one acre area uniformly

Zinc Solublizing Bio Fertilizer (ZSB)

• Zinc deficiency is most prevalent in intensely cropped light textured alkaline soils.
• About 96-99% of the exogenously applied zinc is converted into different insoluble forms viz; zinc phosphate, zinc sulphide etc. within 7 days of application.
• Deficiency of zinc alone can limit yield of wheat, paddy, cotton, maize, sugarcane, sorghum, bajra, orchards and vegetable crops.
