it is a protein kinase inhibitor that inhibits ber- abl tyrosine kinase, it is also an inhibitor of the receptor tyrosine kinases for platelet derived growth factor and stem cell factor, c-kit and inhibits their mediated cellular events.
Indication : philadelphia chromosome positive chronic myeloid leukemia (cml), kit (cd117) positive unrespectable and /or metastatic malignant gastro intestinal stromal tumors (gist).
It is an azalide antibiotic, a subclass of the macrolides, It retains the spectrum of activity of erythromycin against Gram – positive and Gram – negative pathogens and has increased activity against many Gram-negative and atypical micro- organisms. Cefixime Trihydrate is an oral third generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat infections caused by bacteria such as pneumonia; bronchitis; gonorrhoea; and ear, lung, throat, and urinary tract infections. Cefixime is used to treat many different types of infections caused by bacteria.
Absorption : Following oral administration, the bioavailbilty of ofloxacin in the tablet formulation is approximately 98%.Maximum seru concentrations are achieved one to two hours after an oral dose.
