PRODUCT OVERVIEW :

- It is a fully equipped Unitised substation (USS) that includes outdoor housing, medium voltage switchgear, distribution transformer, low voltage panel. Only the incoming & out going cables need to be connected at site. The site work is kept to an absolute minimum.
- The USS is completely self-contained, factory assembled, weatherproof housing ready for placing in position on a concrete base/platform. The space occupied is 1/4th the space required for an open installation. USS is provided with four lifting eyes for easy lifting and positioning the whole unit at the site with the aid of crane .
- Each substation contains three main equipment: Transformer, MV switchgear and LV switchgear each contained in a separate compartment. All compartments are individually accessible by their own door from outside. The substation can be also be provided with automatic power factor control panel. .

Hut Type Sub-Station

SYSTEM CURRENTLY MANUFACTURED / AVAILABLE WITH :

- 2 nos 11 kV incomer feeder of 800 & 1250 Amps.
- 4 nos of out going feeders of 11 kV , 800 & 1250 Amps.
- Computer and printer for down loading information after / within 60 days and processing the same.
- Data Logger in each feeder with 6 digital inputs is installed for logging of time and date of tripping, shut downs and other events. More than 20 parameters like power, harmonics, max demand, power , voltages currents etc are logged with time and date with the maximas and mimimas and are user programmable for logging on hourly/half hourly basis and storing the data in each logger upto 60 days.
- The data logger can communicate on modbus and is equipped with RS232 port.
- The total number of feeders can be tailored as per the specific requirement of client.
- System can be equipped with complete remote data logging, SCADA and RS485 PORT with dial up facility.
- For substations having transformers above 5 MVA, out door 33 kV VCB can be used and the control and relay panels of the VCB shall be housed inside the hut.
- System suitable for 2 nos of 12.5 MVA transformer incomer/ loads.

DESCRIPTION :

- The system consists of incoming HT switch gear, step down transformer and LT side distribution board on a skid that can be moved from place to place. Suitable for utilities and mining application.

- This system is used in open cast mines for feeding HT power to the mobile mining equipments. The design is robust and suitable for frequent shifting in open cast mines. The enclosure is designed for IP 55 and can be exposed to extreme climatic conditions.

"MEDITRON" make Indoor type VACUUM CIRCUIT BREAKERS are suitable for use up to 12KV. Current Rating up to 1250 amps and interrupting current up to 26.3 KA. The Circuit Breakers are fitted with Crompton Greaves Vacuum Interrupters. For ease of operation, the breaker carriage is of horizontal isolation, horizontal withdrawal type.

MEDITRON's EARTH LEAKAGE RELAY provides protection against earth leakage which is sensed by a toroidal current transformer. An earth fault current produces an output in the CT which is fed to the Earth Leakage Relay. If the fault current exceeds the set current then the unit trip the relay. The contacts of this relay can then be used to isolate the fault, usually by tripping a Circuit Breaker or any other switching device.

The Earth Leakage Relay is a static electronic relay. Adjustable sensitivity along with adjustable definite time delay allow efficient discrimination within the systems.
