Tissue Embedding Systems

Tissue embedding is the process of adding additional paraffin to the processed tissue to create a paraffin block. The process of embedding allows sectioning of tissues into very thin sections using a microtome. Tissue embedding station is generally used along with a tissue cooling system Tissue embedding station melts paraffin and keeps it in the liquid form, then using a smartly placed button or a footswitch liquid paraffin is poured into the tissue to create a mould. The mould is then placed on a cooling plate at sub zero temperature, where it solidifies.
