Fiber Glass Wool Thermal Insulation

Fiber Glass Wool is a lightweight, compressible insulation material, consisting of fine, long, inorganic glass fibers bonded together by a high temperature binder. The product is light gold in colour and its superior tensile strength, handleability and resilience offer significant advantages during transport and installation. These unique characteristics of glass wool, combined with its fire safe properties, make it especially suitable for a wide variety of thermal and acoustic insulation applications, ranging from duct and metal roof insulation to applications in solar collectors and generator acoustic enclosures.It is available in rolls, slabs and boards - in various densities and thicknesses and with a wide range of factory applied facings. Thermal Insulation

Chemically Cross linked Polyethylene Foam Insulation.

XLPE' is a non-fibrous, fire retardant (FR), closed cell, tri-dimensional chemically crosslinked polyethylene foam. It is certified 'Class O' in Fire Propagation and 'Class 1' in Surface Spread of Flame as per BS 476 Part 6 & Part 7 respectively. 'XLPE' (chemically crosslinked polyethylene foam) is an ideal environment friendly insulation material, with a perfect solution for all your insulation needs for ducts, roofs, pipes, vessels etc. It is a better alternative to conventional Glass Wool insulation material. 'XLPE' is also available in tubing form for pipe insulation

FR Elastomeric Nitrile Rubber Tubing.

Nitrile Tubing is a fire retardant closed cell flexible elastomeric pre-formed tubing thermal insulation product. The material is CFC & HCFC free with O.D.P. zero. Light & flexible tubing enables easy and fast working. Nitrile Tubing offers a high water vapour transmission resistance factor which ensures a low stable thermal conductivity, thereby saving energy and ensuring efficiency of the system, wherein applied. It is an environmental & user friendly product, than conventional fibrous products like Glass Wool.

Synthetic Rubber Adhesive

MECHDUCT ADHESIVE:

Mechduct is a synthetic rubber, based, specialty formulation developed taking in to consideration the application needs & performance requirements of various HVAC & insulation in industrial & Residential projects. It is recommended as an adhesive to bond Galvanized Iron or Aluminum duct surface to Nitrile rubber or crossed linked Polyethylene foam to provide insulation to AC ducts, Chilled water pipe lines, reaction vessels in various industrial & residential projects. Due to mild smell the product can be conveniently applied in low ventilated project sites at remote places.

METHOD OF APPLICATIONS

  • Clean the substrates to be bonded so that they are free from oil etc.
  • Stir the adhesive well before use.
  • Apply Mechduct on both the substrates uniformly by spreader/ Brush, First on Non porous substrate & then on Porous substrates.
  • Once the adhesive becomes touch dry( when tack is developed) press both the ad substrates together ensuring uniform contact so that air pockets are not formed
  • Cure for 24 hrs at ambient
